    2. hm, carrying eggs (the laid ones off course) from USA to Chile would be a tricky trip :)

    3. Surely they would let me sit in first class, don't you think?
But the TSA agents would probably break them. Sigh.

  2. Much better than the mass produced ones in the grocery! I get 3 dozen of these delivered to my door every week by some cute neighbor kids :) they usually get a little treat for delivering :)

  3. Eggs hmmm the things the cat could do with those
I'm sure he could cause plenty of woes
    Egg on someones face
    Literally at their place
Of course an omelette is good too
    So that could come due
    Not for the cat
    But for Pat
Also just tried egg rolls tonight
Tons put into them that would have in the past gave me a fright
    But really good as well
    I guess food is swell

    1. Wow...Pat is going right to town
      eating everything around.
And how nice to get the egg rolls there
and not travel to china town anywhere. ha.
kind of fun to throw them, too
just between me and you! ha.
      You should keep one around
next time Flappy comes to town.
      lol.

    2. LOL I'd rather give her a can of poo
And throw that in her view
And yeah will try most anything once now
With a few stipulations like stuff from a cow
      Blah to that
And a few others at my mat

    3. Still not liking the dairy?
Afraid it will make you hairy?
      So is pizza a no-can-do?
Don't worry, I'll eat it for you.
So, do the cats notice there are new smells
when you are eating dinner so swell?

    4. oh, Petsy, sister, I can't believe this ebil feline is talking about poop at your place too! What scandal! Scandal I say. And to do it in the year when we celebrate queen's jubilee and must all talk posh and refined....

    5. I know, I know, Dez! What are we going to do with him!
The manners are really lacking, I'm telling you! :)

    6. Technically Petsy gave me the poo idea though
So it's only right I use it at her show
She wanted me to throw it at Flappy
      Whenever she got yappy..haha
And yeah the dairy is just blah still
Actually still haven't eaten it at my hill
      So don't really know
But milk is so ewww to be given a go
Cheese I did it some down there though
And it wasn't bad so pizza could be a go
      But yeah prob not
As to try it I'm not that hot to trot

  5. The eggs are so beautiful....but I always love the dishes you share your special things in. I love ruffled edges on dishes. Bet those fresh eggs yokes are sooooo yellow.

    1. Aren't they lovely? I always enjoy the variety of color and speckles on them. And you are right..the yolks were very dark..almost orange! We had omlettes for supper made from them a couple of nights ago and they were so good!

    1. haha...and you should know! They were so pretty I had to share!

What colors do your hens lay?

      Delete
    2. About like the darkest brown one. As hens age their egg shells get a little lighter tho, and so some of mine look like the light brown one. I don't have any that lay the "easter eggs".

    3. When you're used to white store ones, any color is wonderful! I'm always intrigued with those blue and green ones...yes, just like easter! I didn't know the color faded as the chicken got older! Kinda like going grey? lol.

  8. I love the multi colored ones and the yolk is so yellow! Love fresh eggs, I have an egg nearly everyday! :)

    1. I wonder if the cats would let me have a chicken coop. ha.

    2. My cat tried to stalk my chickens a few times, but now he just ignores them. The rooster gets sassy when someone threatens one of his "wives". :)

    3. haha...cute about the rooster~

maybe my zoo needs one and some hens! ha.
