Everyday Happiness

The theme at Creative Tuesdays this week is Everyday Happiness.
That made me think of the little things that bring a smile to my face.
The problem with drawing that theme, is that there are a lot of little things
that fit that for me!  That's one of the things I love to do...take notice
of simple pleasures and beauty around me every day.
So I listed a few...and drew them, too!

If you'd like to join the group, this theme is due Tuesday evening, the 15th.

    1. Even though blogger does seem dead today
So maybe there was no hip with my hurray
And look at you rhyming away
      With what you say
      The cat likes that
And might purr or leave you a nice plump rat
But the something sweet to eat
You can keep such a treat
      Still not going there
      At my lair
      Well maybe the cat
      As he likes that
Eats them away at the other shore
      Great showing once more

    2. I saw you lurking minutes ago
and wondered when you would show!
      lol.

    3. yes, it is very quiet.
      Everyone must be asleep
or have taken their mother out to eat.
      ha.

      Delete
    4. Yeah I was lurking and looking
While Orlin had my time booking
As he wanted to be brushed over and over
Even on the butt like rover
I guess they all must be asleep
Or out and about counting sheep

    5. I have five wanting that right now.
      Holy Cow.
      How did this happen?
Still say I should ship some to Bush #3.

      I got a lot of Error 503
when trying to go on a comment spree.
So blogger is off visiting it's mother
and making commenting a real bother!

      Delete
    6. hahaha five at once is a ton
      Have lots of fun
      You can keep them all
For Orlin would chase them from his hall

I am getting that crap too
      In my view
      Over and over
Once more proving blogger is run by some dumb rover

  4. Wait! I was so excited about being second at first I didn't see that Pat rhymed. Scared me for a minute.
You are so right. It is the small, simple things in life that bring such joy.

    1. haha..Pat ALWAYS rhymes...and I rhyme back.
but beware...it's like a sickness that attacks.
      :)

    2. A sickness you like
As every now and then, more and more, you take the rhyming hike

      Delete
    3. that is true.
I do it almost as much as you.
      It's an addiction
      or maybe an affliction?
      ha.

    4. Do a 10,000 post in rhyme
Then you will really be sublime
And it may even get all out of your system as well
Or make you rhyme even more at your cell
      Bringing bloody wanker about
      As you shout..haha

  5. Love this Betsy....You know I relate to all your happy moments. I wanted so bad to do a collage, because of so many things that are my everyday happies...but crazy week with my trip...so I just slapped together one stetch that makes me happy.

I have to confess....no one is as busy as you, and you still come up with masterpieces week after week. That's what I love about you...You make me happy.

  8. this is great Betsy. You do such a nice job with the drawings, came out great. I do have to say though, I saw sweet to eat and then there was feet, which I was like ok, but then saw it right. But you know what I learned in that moment….that pat's ruined feet for me forever more with those zombie feet over at his shore lol. This is very nice Betsy and hope you had a wonderful Mother's day, which of course translates, hope you had fun with your family and got a lot of nice gifts:)

  28. Oh, that's very very cu te. Like the lettering too. That's a really great interpretation too. Yes, pretty well sums up the good things in your daily life, doesn't it, Betsy? :) Now, call me somber, but I can't help but think of what your take might be on everyday surprise, for example,..like, two shows on at the same time and so on. :) Love your focusing on the positives there! Keep it up. TY for taking the time doing this too. Must have taken a while!
