Random Monday

It rained this morning.
The raindrops left on the bushes outside my kitchen window were amazing!

I had to snap a few photos.  So pretty!

I have a cookie order.  Wedding favors.  300 heart shaped cookies.
That's 25 dozen.  I got 7 dozen baked and in the freezer today.
I'll repeat that tomorrow...and the next day. :)

I noticed Marmalade was doing security patrol on the roof again.

Then I noticed that Charcoal must have been learning the ropes!

It's always a safe feeling to know that the cats are on security duty!
I wonder what the neighbors think!  hahahaha!

      at that other flat?

    2. They are all indoor ones
      So no outside runs
Although maybe a few should get pushed out the door
That would make Orlin happy when he went to that shore

      Delete
    3. maybe Orlin will do that this weekend there,
jump on the roof and call "Pat, come back here!"
      lol.....

    4. LOL I would if I were him
Staying with 12 cats would be quite grim

    5. aw...they will sleep wrapped around your neck
      when you come back.
Might not let you out of their sight
after an unsupervised visit for days and nights.

    1. I know..the cookies aren't bad if you pace yourself. I'm giving myself 2 weeks to do it all. If I'm pressed for time, it's just horrible and stressful...and everyone runs out of clean socks....and starves. lol....

  9. love those raindrops! it rained here as well (the gentle kind, perfect for the newly seeded grass) but I didn't do anything fun like cookies. just a mountains of laundry and painting, painting, painting. very boring and hum-drum but I will be ever so happy when it's finished.:)

    5. So what color is the paint?

      Delete
    6. Atrium White by Benjamin Moore takes the place of the previous dark stain. Yikes! Dark work spaces just don't work for me! My husband and kids all approve of the new bright look :)

    7. oh, that sounds beautiful! I have white cabinets...it makes for a very bright, wide open feel in the kitchen! Have you lived there long?

  10. Bless your heart for making all those cookies...that would do me in, but baking is not a hobby of mine. But I am more than happy to eat them. Do you have to decorate them too? Yikes, I can see why you start early! Your cats always crack me up...thank you for that!
