    1. aw, no...he's not unhappy! He's listening to a CD. He looks away like that when he knows I'm taking his picture or if someone talks to him.

    2. I thought it looked like one of those old yearbook photos from highschool seniors...the serious pose? :)

      Delete

    9. Well, you are predictable in your choice of avitars. I guess I am too--I use inanimate objects, and you use famous people/actors/superheroes.

      Delete
    10. Gloria and I just like being ourselves! haha.

      Delete
    11. Haha! Rebecca, you say "predictable" like you only have four or five types of inanimate objects to choose from, or I only have a handful of celebrities & superheroes. And I don't always use celebrities or superheroes, or have you forgotten the sketches of myself, or the silver fox...?

      Delete
    12. @Betsy: If I looked like you two, I'd probably stick to photos, too!

      Delete
    13. yes Betsy we are always ourselves lol

      Delete
    16. hahaha I'm picturing Silver with bangs and a touch of makeup. How disturbing. :)

      Delete
    17. yes...that just doesn't seem right, does it? Especially if the bangs were dyed brown. lol.

      Delete
    18. I wonder if he knows how much fun we are having at his expense. :) Sometimes a vivid imagination is a bad thing, but I've been chuckling all morning long over this. :) I may need professional help......hee hee

      Delete
    19. well, if he doesn't now, he will eventually when he gets here. haha. Yes, I'm thinking that would not be a good look on him. :) The stress must be getting to you. When I'm tired, I get very silly. lol.

      Delete
    20. Stress, what stress? hahahaha

      Delete
    21. Actually I should be very stress free right now cause hubby and I are going out tonight---with NO KIDS. Makes me happy just thinking about it. :)

    1. He isn't really looking at anything..just looking away from the camera. :)

      Delete
    2. I did! I figured out how to do it, and I wanted to be sure I didn't forget. Plus, I don't like looking at my face that well. A cup of coffee is much more pleasant. Ha

      Delete
    3. I get it! I don't really like looking at camera's that well either. :)

      Delete
    2. my hubby's eyes are brown most of the time, haha, sometimes depends what he wears they are a lighter and with green. All the kiddos have brown but the chocolatey brown ones are from me. and they twinkle and sparkle mischief a lot of the time. theirs, not mine. ha

      Delete
    3. A little hazel going on there then...nice!

Taylor's are darker like mine and the triplets are a little lighter.

the mischief isn't from you? are you sure? lol...

      Delete
    4. that would be telling :) they can shoot sparks though. ha

    1. thanks, Michelle. I thought the serious look was sweet.

  9. Do you have ANY pictures of him smiling?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Of course! In fact I just clicked on his name on the label cloud. If you check, there are three pictures of him smiling on the first page alone. I didn't go further but there is his famous smirk on his bedhead photo and when he is at the grocery with me from last year. I think this is the first time I've posted a photo of him alone where he has a serious look on his face. It's hard to get my boys to smile at the camera, which is why I usually post the smiles...they are such a prize photograph.

      Delete
    2. he's smiling in the photo on my sidebar, too....all three of them are.

      Delete
    3. :) He would love you, Brian.
He wouldn't have said hello back, but he would give a single nod toward you when you said 'hi' to him. :) And he gives high-fives. lol.

  10. Look to be posing for one of those marble sculptures being made
For those in the art trade
There is an idea for your back yard zoo
    Sculptures of you men crew..hahaha
The kitties could sit on their head
And get the sunlight as they curled up and went to bed...haha

    1. yep...kind of like The Thinker statue
maybe that's what he was trying to do
      look very philosophical
as he was watching youtube at his stall.
      haha
So with statues all about the zoo would take on a museum look
maybe one could even be reading a book
      Cats on their heads
I guess pidgeons would cause more dread.
      haha.

      Delete
    2. haha the cats would keep those away
So they wouldn't cause any dismay
Unless they wound up left for dead
      On their head..haha
Guess youtube had something grand on it
As he did his phiosophical bit

      Delete
    3. dead pidgeons saved for lunch
      that's how it'd be, I have a hunch.
      Youtube gets worn out here
      times three, I fear. lol.

      Delete
    4. haha three seperate youtube songs/videos on the go
All at the same time at your show
That must be fun to listen too
Unless their headphones prevent the sound from ringing out to you

      Delete
    5. Oh, you don't realize the half of it
not only 3 youtubes having a fit
but also a dvd in the tv
and a cd in the boom box, you see.
All of this in one room
      it does cause me gloom
but they hop around and love it so
and crank up the volumes to a full bellow.

See why I love the school days so
and turn insane on holidays, weekends and summer, though?
      lol.

      Delete
    6. LMAO oh you have quite the racket at your place
Must be heard all the way in outer space
      But they have fun
So it is worth it to let it run
      Still noisy indeed
Can see why you like it so much when you're alone at your feed..haha

      Delete
    7. yeah, what was that talk about the nobel prize at your site?
I think I deserve it, or a crown here with my plight.
      haha.
I do make them turn the volume down, which they do
and then it creeps back up, that silly crew.
So we go round and round and if they don't obey
I take one of the offending electronics away.
Oh, now don't throw a fit.
They were warned and deserve it.
      lol.

    1. I wish he could tell me! ha. But if I had to guess, it would be that the camera makes him feel shy. ha.

I miss those days when I could pick up a son and sit them on the kitchen counter to frost a cake! ha. Aww. They grow up way too fast.
