A Commercial For Me

This afternoon I was looking out on the back porch at some of the stray kittens playing out there.
The pregnant mother cat came and was eating.
The TV was on behind me and this commercial caught my attention.

Oh, now that is TOO funny.
But I am trying to control the population!  Really!
And I'm not adopting them.  They are adopting me!
At least I already have Directv.

  5. LOL just get one of those pin on beards and you'll be all set
You could do the sequel to the commercial I bet
As the kitties continue to increase at your shore
    And knock at the door

with a pin on beard I might look pretty close
and then the sequel I can host!

oh dear...my zoo looks like his zoo, I fear!
      Although only Whiskers is inside
guess she's tired of the feral ride.

    1. good idea! :) Yes, I'm planning on enjoying the race. Are you a Nascar fan? Chicagoland is so close! :)

    2. I enjoy Nascar, but wouldn't say I'm a huge fan. Last year I got my son to watch it for the first time, but we've got other plans today so I may miss most of it. I've never been to a race in person.. not sure I would like the noise!

    3. It's incredibly noisy! You have to have ear protection. But it is a completely different experience to be there. My boys would never tolerate the crowds, noise, and heat (in the summer) but the other three of us have gone several times.
Enjoy your day! We have plans, too, and I might miss the end of it!

    4. Sorry for the rain at Daytona, but I'm glad it gave you a chance to visit my blog. :)

Maybe one day I'll get to a race... crowds, noise, and heat are not exactly my thing either, but I know that there's something about a live sporting event that just doesn't transfer to tv.

Hope you are enjoying your race-less day!

    5. Yes, enjoying it so far. At this point, they might as well postpone until tomorrow. At least that would work better for me...although they didn't ask my opinion! haha.

It's given me a chance to catch up on quite a few blogs! And throw in a load of laundry! :)

  12. That is just too funny and it is a good thing you say you have DirecTV. Somebody must have read your post and then make a commercial about you but in a not so direct way.

    Still laughing.

    God bless.

    1. yeah, it was just funny how I was looking out at them and that pregnant mama and thinking what an impossible task I've taken on getting them spayed/neutered and then in the background I hear that commercial. Cracked me up!~

ps..it's not REALLY impossible. I'll eventually get them all. It's just too bad that there are some that I will have a hard time catching and they are multiplying in the mean time.

  17. That's really funny. What a coincidence it came on at that moment. I'm sure there's a female equivalent of the wild bearded man so you'd better beware!
