This afternoon I was looking out on the back porch at some of the stray kittens playing out there.
The pregnant mother cat came and was eating.
The TV was on behind me and this commercial caught my attention.
Oh, now that is TOO funny.
But I am trying to control the population! Really!
And I'm not adopting them. They are adopting me!
At least I already have Directv.
♥
Cute. But you don't have a scraggly beard, thank God!
ReplyDeleteMaybe that was The Mister...
Deletehaha...I'll tell him you said that, Martha!
Deletehahaha actually saw that for the first time tonight...and did not think of you at first (probably b/c of the beard) but now that you point it out...smiles. happy saturday betsy!
ReplyDeleteno beard...I'll leave the facial hair to my twin. :)
DeleteThat is funny...but not like you at all, thank goodness! ;D
ReplyDeleteif I let them all inside, my family room will look like his! lol!
Deletefun.nee! the beard and the wild hair don't quite cause one to think of you. you are much to beautiful! :) thanks for the chuckle!
ReplyDeletehaha...well, that's good to know. Still, I did have to laugh at the zoo he had.
DeleteLOL just get one of those pin on beards and you'll be all set
ReplyDeleteYou could do the sequel to the commercial I bet
As the kitties continue to increase at your shore
And knock at the door
lol my hair is starting to grow longer, too
Deleteand bedhead might come due
with a pin on beard I might look pretty close
and then the sequel I can host!
lol.
oh dear...my zoo looks like his zoo, I fear!
Although only Whiskers is inside
guess she's tired of the feral ride.
I LOVE the new DirecTV commercials! Have you seen the one where the guy ends up with a grandchild with a dog collar?
ReplyDeleteYes! Actually, I think that one is even funnier!
Deletelol and boy did I need that. My smuckers (our dog)passed away today unexpectedly its been rough. So i am trying to get my mind off of him by catching up on blog land. Enjoy your stray cats :)
ReplyDeleteAw, Saun! I'm so sorry! Another blog friend lost their dog this week. So hard! Want a half dozen kittens? I have enough to share! ;) Big hugs.
DeleteI needed a good belly laugh.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I know you did. Hope you're doing well! xo
DeleteAwwwww!! Just don't do the beard - that's not a good look unless you are Gandalf! LOL! Yay for looking after stray animals! Take care
ReplyDeletex
haha...no worries about the beard.
DeleteHahah Betsy Ive seen that. But I never thought of you,LOL.
ReplyDeleteoh, good! ha.
DeleteBetter get DirectTV, just to be sure. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Daytona 500!
good idea! :) Yes, I'm planning on enjoying the race. Are you a Nascar fan? Chicagoland is so close! :)
DeleteI enjoy Nascar, but wouldn't say I'm a huge fan. Last year I got my son to watch it for the first time, but we've got other plans today so I may miss most of it. I've never been to a race in person.. not sure I would like the noise!
DeleteIt's incredibly noisy! You have to have ear protection. But it is a completely different experience to be there. My boys would never tolerate the crowds, noise, and heat (in the summer) but the other three of us have gone several times.
DeleteEnjoy your day! We have plans, too, and I might miss the end of it!
Sorry for the rain at Daytona, but I'm glad it gave you a chance to visit my blog. :)
DeleteMaybe one day I'll get to a race... crowds, noise, and heat are not exactly my thing either, but I know that there's something about a live sporting event that just doesn't transfer to tv.
Hope you are enjoying your race-less day!
Yes, enjoying it so far. At this point, they might as well postpone until tomorrow. At least that would work better for me...although they didn't ask my opinion! haha.
DeleteIt's given me a chance to catch up on quite a few blogs! And throw in a load of laundry! :)
That is just too funny and it is a good thing you say you have DirecTV. Somebody must have read your post and then make a commercial about you but in a not so direct way.
ReplyDeleteStill laughing.
God bless.
yeah, it was just funny how I was looking out at them and that pregnant mama and thinking what an impossible task I've taken on getting them spayed/neutered and then in the background I hear that commercial. Cracked me up!~
Deleteps..it's not REALLY impossible. I'll eventually get them all. It's just too bad that there are some that I will have a hard time catching and they are multiplying in the mean time.
Oh that is hilarious!!! You don't seem like you have anger issues either.....just sayin' :)
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm fairly even-tempered....don't remember ever throwing anything at least. lol.

DeleteI haven't seen this before, but it is very funny.
ReplyDeleteThat's really funny. What a coincidence it came on at that moment. I'm sure there's a female equivalent of the wild bearded man so you'd better beware!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
