Also I thought you were going to have advise there a bit further down about how to get someone to blow their nose as I could use that too, I have no better luck than you!
And....You are farther in the Christmas spirit than me though, I've not decorated at all yet, it sort of upsets my son.... He loves the tree and will move ornaments as I apparently don't know where they should go, but the whole Christmas thing just confuses him! -Andrea
Andrea ~ oh, I've decorated, but I made myself do it. ha. Sorry to hear you have the nose blowing issues, too! What to do! Spencer got sent home from school on Friday because wiping it for him was becoming a problem. What to do?! Blowing would be so helpful! ha.
Pretty in Pink. Just got a new bottle of perfume...pink bottle, and the name of the fragrance...(whispering....Sensuous Nude) It does smell heavenly!!!
Mr. Penguin has to be on the brink He's next to all that pink I guess it brings out his white and black So maybe he will cause you no flack And look you let it snow The fake kind I don't mind, but the rest of it can go....haha
Pat ~ you got me there.. should have been more..aware? ha.
Speaking of that, you should have seen me trying to find out the same with the new kittens, you see They didn't want to let me know and thought I was rude to ask for a show. ha.
Love the new look here Betsy and that moon in your header, wow, it's gorgeous! Did you take the picture? I envy you your camera then, or telescope.;) Did you see the moon eclipse on Saturday, it was clearly visible here.;)) Love all that pinkness.;) xoxo
Had to go back and play with the snow for awhile. Really cool how it moves and then melts. I like the black look, seems to go with winter gloom.
One can never have too much pink, I love pink. But I would like to know about the lamp. It looks like an antique, did you find it at an auction? There is just something about it that makes one want to learn its history. Cool glasses.
Thanks, Mrs U. The black is just a lovely winter night...didn't really have anything to do with my sad mood. ha.
The lamp is an antique. It was a thrift store find by my sister years ago...rewired and it has a new shade. It has a marble base and a cherub on it. I don't know any history to it, though! :)
That looks so warm and inviting. You really do have the homemaker touch. Smiled at Wanda's "Sensuous Nude" - I got some of that too but I don't know if I'd dare ask for another bottle!! It smells divine though.
well it certainly adds a splash of color you know...smiles...
ReplyDeletewow, I love this!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE!
ReplyDeleteSo, you're going the "basic black" route for your blog? (The snowflakes are a nice touch!) Reminds me of my old "David'Z RantZ" blog!
ReplyDeleteSilver ~ kind of like the classic little black dress...can never go wrong with that! :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, look absolutely nice:)

ReplyDeleteHey! When you move the cursor across the screen, it changes the way the snow is falling!
ReplyDeleteSilver ~ yep...and it melts when it gathers at the bottom of your screen. :) See..you can play God and control the snow. ha.

LOVE the snow--at least there is snow somewhere. There still is none on our ground. :( I like the pink too--especially the poinsetta.

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS Betsy!
ReplyDeleteThe frosty moon is SUPER, SUPER COOL!
Jill ~ the moon was really cool last night, too! Must be the really cold air that make the photo nice and clear....no humidity.

ReplyDeletehaha...jenny...you and Wanda make me want to buy some myself!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... pink has arrived at your home. Every girl needs a touch of pink.
ReplyDeleteI saw that moon last week - awesome!
Lovely, just lovely. Any woman living in a housefull of men like you, certainly deserves some 'pink spots' in her home. Great!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, so lovely. I woudl think you;d have to wear a 1920's style flowing dress and plumage to grace that setting, no? Beautiful indeed.
ReplyDeleteBTw, I have yet to actually know any woman who has a classic black dress and has worn it in front of me. one day maybe.
