  16. Say that marker's name three times fast
    Doesn't seem to last..haha
Never even knew there was such a thing
Until you just gave it a ring
And look at you with your skills
    Even giving food some thrills..haha

  18. Betsy...If it's not too much trouble, I have got a few "rookie blogger" questions for you.

Was looking at my blog settings and don't know what a couple things mean:
    1. What is Post Feed Redirect URL? and should I be doing that?
    2. What is Post Feed Footer? And should I be doing that also?
    3. Do you have opinions about the Adsense stuff? Advice to share with me? Things to be wary of?

Hope this isn't imposing on you.

    In Him,
    Grace

  20. Very cool idea, also love our post below, so sweet!

  21. yep, JDC...that was the idea! lol...

  22. Grace ~ I don't do either the Post Feed Redirect or the Post Feed Footer...the footer would be an automatic ending to each post, I'm guessing...which might be nice..like your signature or a sign off quote.

Not sure what the redirect thing is. You could try it and if you don't like it, just remove it!

And I have the Adsense but really don't think it's worth it. I don't like the idea of big ads on my sidebars, but some people do..it's just a personal preference thing.

    Hope that helps!

  23. Those marshmallows are cute!! I think that's something even I could do. :) You could even write words on them......or names.........or smiley faces. :)

  24. I love, love how you put so many little touches of yourself into the gift baskets that you make -- that's something special that the mass produced gift baskets don't have. Pure delight all wrapped up in beautiful package.

  29. Those are too pretty to eat. You have so much talent and I am thinking that if you started a mail order gift basket business for Valentines Day, birthdays, and Christmas that you would do well. Name it something that has a personal touch in it and they will sell like hotcakes. I bet we could come up with some good names to choose from. Anyway just a thought for you to think about.

Oh I just posted an R- rated thing that I hope gets you in the spirit. But don't check if you cannot handle R-ratings. It is just in fun.

    God bless.

  30. Mrs. U ~ I do have a little gift basket business...as in a real one with a name! It's Betsy's Baskets. I mainly do local delivery...it keeps it small and manageable from my home! :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh Betsy, that is the best name. I do not think we would have done better. And if you ever were to want to start shipping them then I guess you are right in it would no longer be a small home business because we would order them like crazy. They are truly great baskets.

    God bless.

  32. Get yourself a TV show on HGTV...right now. You are the most clever person I know. And the moon shot on your header...good grief...is that with your CAMERA or a TELESCOPE? Wow!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Aw, Anita ~ thank you. :) Those marshmallows were so fun and easy!

The moon was taken with my little old camera! I just zoomed in as far as I could and took it. It was large and still low to the horizon and I think I got lucky on that one...it was really cold...in the teens and I think the lack of humidity in the air made it really clear. I love the detail in it...it almost looks fake! ha.

  34. As creative as ever Betsy. You could write letters on them and spell out suitable Christmas messages : come to think of it, you probably already do.

  35. Alan ~ well, this was on a whim...just thought of it yesterday so haven't done anything else, but that is a great idea! :)

  37. I LOVE IT!
Now, I love the ice skates on the mug even better! Where did THAT come from?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Betsy if I have time I would iron for you dear (lol)

  39. Jill ~ Big Lots! ...where they have tons of wonderful gourmet Christmas goodies. They had ones with snowshoes on them, too...which were really cute!

  40. Oh Betsy - what a very special touch! I've used these food markers before, but they're not very easy to find. I LOVE adding special touches....how about using washable markers to write on your neck? Things like "kiss me here" etc. hahaha

  41. I'm assuming the ink is quite digestible then? Is it peppermint flavoured? :)
