Wow, that is a lot of kittens you are feeding and do you think that the Mom's can recognize them better now that they have numbers painted on them. Is the paint waterproof and lick proof?
Have any of the.new ones let you pet them? I really do hope they find a good home someday.
My oh my Just think only 5 more and it will be a tie With that place that Orlin hates to go Plus a weiner dog resides at the show So maybe 6 more But then if the moms and dad count at your shore That means 3 So we'll go with that at your sea..haha
Mrs U ~ one of the younger litter is very friendly. He looks just like our Mustache but in miniature but has white back legs. We've named him Socks. The others are warming up...not running away if we step outside, and tonight they stepped just inside the back door to eat some bites of meat but wouldn't let me touch them. Marmalade has taken on a roll of big brother and he's so cute to watch as he plays with them, licks their faces and gets them out of trees.
Pat ~ the moms and dad do stop by a couple of times a week to eat but never stay. They don't want to be domesticated in any way! There is no way I can compete with that place that has fourteen Tell Gramma that she wins at her bin. lol....
yes, Pat You love to take credit and say that you made it: a rhyming non-rhythmic commentor. Although if you say 'Strat' we might have to sensor. ha. oh, that was REALLY bad rhythm.
Oh, we are going to have to call you The Cat Lady soon... or soon might be too late. LOL! What a crew. No mice problem at your house... a super nice bonus!! I am glad you have befriended them, Betsy. blessings ~ tanna
Oh my they have multiplied. As a kid on the farm that was a common sight and dad gave them milk after he had milked the two cows. Of course milk was probably bad for them but they sure did survive. I love the photo.
Wow, it's really cool how you painted those numbers on them!
ReplyDeleteWell, I have to be able to tell them apart somehow! :)
ReplyDeleteHow'd you get them to stand still while you painted them?
ReplyDeletebeautiful family!

ReplyDelete@Rebecca: That's right, all you can eat! Nine kittens to choose from!
ReplyDeleteWould it help if I ducked?
ReplyDeleteYou could try... But the Rhythm Nazi might aim low.
ReplyDeleteSilver~you must be related to my husband. He would crack something like that about a cat!
ReplyDeleteBetsy~they get a little pushy huh? :)
Silver ~ You just like everything hoochy-koochy or perfect rhythm like Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney!
ReplyDeleteBlame Pat...he's the one that taught me all my rhyming skills. lol...
Rebecca ~ Let's just say I make sure my toes aren't in the way! ha.
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ do you have any pets?
ReplyDeleteI have three dogs dear:) so bigger than your cats
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'd like to see a little hoochy-koochy.
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ oh, fun! :)

ReplyDeleteHey, what's wrong with Dr. Suess? :) (not that I'm sticking up for the rhythm nazi or anything)
ReplyDeleteANd Esperanza told me right now she wants a bunny again:)

ReplyDeleteBlame me?
ReplyDeleteBah, I can take it easily
Gloria ~ see, you have had a zoo before like me! :)
ReplyDeleteHoly cow....or cat, I should say.
ReplyDeleteRebecca~ oh, I love Dr. Seuss! But he's a good example of perfect rhythm while rhyming...no artistic liberties, like I take. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's something about "zookeeping" that reduces stress. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know Betsy--I was just schputting. :)
ReplyDeleteYes I had dear, hope not begin again, she wants a bunny now...

ReplyDeleteBetsy you should do a post on your bunny again.
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ very true! These cats stay outside and if I let one in, I watch out for Nugget! But he's bigger than the kittens, so all is fine so far!
ReplyDeleteYes Betsy Esperanza wants a little bunny and this worry me cause I know the dogs, the other say almost die I saw Mouska with a little bird ....
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ OK...I'll do one soon. I should take a new photo of him, too. :) He sleeps during the day, though, so it's hard to get a good one.
ReplyDeleteps...and he sleeps behind furniture...he's never in his cage...
