A Golden Reddish Day

We woke up this morning to blue skies, golden leaves and frost!
The photos above are taken from my desk in the kitchen.
I sat and drank my coffee as I watched leaves falling and twirling to the ground.
Marmalade found a perch in the sun and sat, dozing in it's warmth.
This evening Taylor and Lauren passed out the Halloween candy to the little
trick-or-treaters. Even her hair is golden reddish. How perfect is that?

  13. Pat ~

Yep, the kiddies get to have their candy high
    late on Saturday night.
Maybe the teacher's union made the choice of day
so they wouldn't have to deal with them the next morning that way.
    ha.

  20. I love the colors in all the pictures. Do you have special rules about trick or treating since they came early?

And I just read about the $1050 sign from the auction. Jeepers, that's a lot of money!

  27. Strange how they change the days of so many holidays nowadays. Ours will be out on Monday if they even go out. Most kids here go to Church parties or to a Mall so as to make sure the candy is safe. We still have sic o's out here. I just buy big bags at Costco and give it to the grandkids. They get more and it is safe.

Great autumn pictures to share. We don't get the changing of the leaves out here. Trees stay green all year. Only a few change, not enough to even notice. Stay warm.

    God bless.

  29. Rachel and I drove to Huntsville today. The trees were so pretty. The weather has been perfect for good color. I think in the next week or two things will get even prettier.

Kids will trick or treat here on Monday. I'm going to stop by Rachel's so I can see her babies in their costumes. I saw some sneak peaks of my Huntsville g-kids outfits yesterday.

    Enjoy fall!
