Autumn is the theme at Creative Tuesdays this week! My drawing depicts pigeons enjoying a bag of seed while they sit on a park bench under a Ginko tree.
I can almost hear the crunch of the golden leaves! If you'd like to join us, this theme is due Tuesday the 25th. Click HERE to join or see other works of art!

ReplyDelete(oh, he's going to just love this! hahaha)
Uhhh, usually when I'm discussed around here, it's because of my wisecracks....
ReplyDelete(Keep it up, ladies. Maybe someday I'll post an actual photograph!)
Beautiful as always Betsy! You are so talented.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, so creative!
ReplyDeleteCool autumn picture. We are finally having a cool day. It actually feels like an autumn day here with no sun shining and not using the air conditioner. Keeping fingers crossed that we get more days like this.
ReplyDeleteI like the bench in the pic and was thinking that the leaves are up to the bench and nice that someone put seeds out for the birds.
God bless.
PS...The new theme for Theme Thursday is up.
Love that bench...the color and texture looks so real. I would love to just sit there, but I'm afraid those birds would just fly away and then I would feel bad.
ReplyDeleteAll back to globland
ReplyDeleteWith a golden leaf at your stand
Or make that 68 leaves I think
That's how many I counted before I had to blink
Sad I went and counted I know
See you sent me into withdraw with two days of not rhyming at your show..haha
Oh those lazy humans too
They just leave the seed there and don't feed the pigeons directly at their zoo
What are we to do
Another great drawing by you
You did a wonderful job! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI really love it!!!
MrsU ~ I hope the cooler weather stays for you!
ReplyDeleteI saw the new theme...have 'thrill' written on my calendar! :)
Pat ~ leave it to you to count the leaves
ReplyDeletejust like an accountant, I believe!
Sounds like you missed me, too
That is so dear of you!
Awww, I poured a bag of birdseed on our bench this afternoon as I prepared to pour it into our big air-tight container. Sadly, no feathered friends joined me at the bench.
ReplyDeleteI love Ginko trees.
Oops, that should say, "I SET a bag of birdseed on our bench today..."
ReplyDeleteChristian ~ oh good...setting it is better than pouring it. :) I love ginkos, too!
ReplyDeleteI love that quote and your drawing..I would love to be on that bench. Fall is just so peaceful, it's amazing. :D
ReplyDeleteI love the movement in this drawing...from the sway of the bench to the flutter of the falling leaves. You are really good!

ReplyDeleteHeather ~ oh yeah...love the pigeon lady! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of pigeons are those, and what area are they native to? I've never seen that variety in New England.
ReplyDeleteSilver ~ well, it's really a combination of an Australian pigeon and a Diamond Dove..with some artistic liberties included. I guess you could say they are fictional. ha. :)
