Autumn ~ A Creative Tuesday Drawing

Autumn is the theme at Creative Tuesdays this week! My drawing depicts pigeons enjoying a bag of seed while they sit on a park bench under a Ginko tree.

    you might want to get the rake out...smiles...some nice contrasts in this betsy...the leaves, the birds the seed...composed well as well...

    Cool autumn picture. We are finally having a cool day. It actually feels like an autumn day here with no sun shining and not using the air conditioner. Keeping fingers crossed that we get more days like this.

    I like the bench in the pic and was thinking that the leaves are up to the bench and nice that someone put seeds out for the birds.

    Love that bench...the color and texture looks so real. I would love to just sit there, but I'm afraid those birds would just fly away and then I would feel bad.

    See you sent me into withdraw with two days of not rhyming at your show..haha
    Oh those lazy humans too
    They just leave the seed there and don't feed the pigeons directly at their zoo

    Awww, I poured a bag of birdseed on our bench this afternoon as I prepared to pour it into our big air-tight container. Sadly, no feathered friends joined me at the bench.

    I love Ginko trees.

    What kind of pigeons are those, and what area are they native to? I've never seen that variety in New England.

    Silver ~ well, it's really a combination of an Australian pigeon and a Diamond Dove..with some artistic liberties included. I guess you could say they are fictional. ha. :)

    Oh, I missed so many of your lovely interesting posts. And I missed celebrating the boys' birthday with you. I'm so glad they looked forward to it.
    As to this drawing, ginkos have such pretty leaves - how clever of you to capture this scene. I think your doves are prettier than ours too.
