How Do You Sleep?

Arms over your head?
Head upside down? Ready to run at a moment's notice?

yes, Brian... we remember your poem!

Legs hanging off the side of the bed? Under the stars? In a big pile? This may sound weird to some, but it's perfectly normal with our triplets. ha. While still sitting up in your chair? A-hem, Silver! And just so others know, he's fallen asleep while having email conversations with me! Yes, it has given me a complex that my emails are boring! haha! If you have insomnia, just send me a note. I'll see what I can do! lol. Or maybe you have a 'family bed'? Any parents out there ever done this with their little kids? The kids sleep great...the parents? Not so much! HA. And yes, they sleep like this...sideways with their toes digging into your side! Come to think of it, our cats used to do this exact same thing! Or how about sleeping with your feet stretched up beside your head?
Well, however you do it, I hope it's restful!

This is how mothers sleep when they still do night time baby feedings.
Like you're flying?
Tiger looks like "the cat jumped over the moon" here!
Snuggled with someone that licks your ears?
Human or pet?

  2. What a gorgeous post Betsy..the kittens have grown so much, they're beautiful.
I personally love sleeping on my belly with my arms above my head. It was a bit of a problem when I was pregnant with the boys...but I don't need to worry about that happening again. he!he!he!

  3. Katherine ~ I used to sleep on my stomach, too...until pregnancies changed my habit. Now it's just on my side.

Don't be silly. I haven't done that since... well... this afternoon, actually.

And it's because of my weird sleep patterns... not the company!

  24. At the moment they are just kittens and lovely and innocent. Just wait until they discover that you are not their mistress, but their servant!

My Dinky was a foundling. He turned up one dark winters night, cold, wet and starving. He only looked about 8 weeks old.

My old cat, Sooty, had only died the week before and I was sad and lonely myself so I invited him in, cleaned him up and fed him and he's been with me now for nearly two years.

Like your kittens he was just a bundle of furry joy. That is until he reached the adolescent stage; just like a bored teenager. Now I very rarely see him except at mealtimes, which he eats very fast then he's off out again with his mates.

Recently he's started to bring his mates in for a sleepover when the weathers bad. There's three of them, dirty and very demanding, I don't think they have homes, and I'm certainly not taking them on. One demanding cat enough.

  25. I wish I was a cat sometimes! Love the first photo with the ginger kitten - so relaxed. I'm told I sleep flat on my back and hardly move (my friend with whom I shared a room on holiday worried that I was dead!)

  26. I just realized that my insomnia problems are caused by my sleeping with my feet curled up by my head. I must be in the wrong fetal position.

Actually my cat Joey sleeps that way curled up like a ball. I toss and turn and sleep anyway I can.

The kitties look so cute and happy. Just adorable.

    God bless.

I sleep with my arms over my head and my feet hanging off the bed... at least, that's the way I wake up sometimes!
