He's the one with all of the papers that he's printed off of the Interenet. He tapes them together in long trains and folds them up. Sometimes he cuts them apart and rearranges them. The other two boys don't do anything remotely similar. :)
Yeah newere versions weren't all that great hahaha quite funny that he made that a garbage grate Although Brian is right couldn't that spark a flame That wouldn't be tame Maybe you should teach the kitties the twilight bark Than they'll warn you if anything is happening at your park..haha
The original? Good! They have excellent taste! (I didn't dare assume "classic" meant "original," seeing how we're living in the day of the "instant classic," whatever that means!)
sounds perfectly logical to me! and it really sounds like a boy-thing. My sons would put their popsicle sticks and wrappers in the craziest places, like under their beds and in the couch cushions.
My first thought was the same as Brian's in wondering if it could catch on fire. Hopefully he will never think of it as a campfire, but it is sweet that he cleans up and throws things in the "trash".
Our registers aren't in use but are an amazing microcosm of the past 40 years. MOTH's removing them room by room & the things he's finding in them are too disgusting to list here! Millie x
Ummm yeah I have found some very unique items in my vents too. One time it was a dollars worth of change. You know--small slots look like a piggy bank. :)
Just wondering how you know it's Spencer. :)

ReplyDeleteMom's always know, right?
"Just Wondering, Part Two": Is it the original, animated version of 101 Dalmatians, or the live-action version with Glenn Close?
ReplyDeleteOh. Couldn't tell what was on the papers. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's the original. I put "classic", but that's what I meant. They didn't like the newer versions!
ReplyDeleteintriguing...can that cause a fire in the heat register? could putting a screen under the vent help?
ReplyDeleteGood point, Brian. I did vacuum it out, too.
ReplyDeleteAt least he didn't throw up down one of them. Yes, it's happened! Everything has happened here at least once. lol...

ReplyDeletePat ~ "The Twilight Bark? But Dear, that's only a gossip chain..."
ReplyDeleteThe only instant classic they ever liked was the Polar Express. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a sensory thing Mom! Just keeping life interesting.
ReplyDeleteHey at least you'll get the news
ReplyDeleteThe good stuff keep, the bad stuff lose..lol
Don't tell Spencer, but my husband (when he will little) use to put chocolate chips on heater vents to melt them and then eat them.
ReplyDeleteYou should, really, write a book!
Christine ~ oh, that is too funny! Spencer doesn't like chocolate, but if he knew that he might lay a hot dog or two there. hahaha.
ReplyDeletethats funny and the comments are even more funny
ReplyDeletesounds perfectly logical to me! and it really sounds like a boy-thing. My sons would put their popsicle sticks and wrappers in the craziest places, like under their beds and in the couch cushions.
ReplyDeleteRhonda ~ oh yes I have an older one like that! lol...
ReplyDelete"An older one like that?" Hmmmm. Do you mean Taylor, or the mister? haha
ReplyDeletehahaha...Taylor. Fortunately, The Mister doesn't stuff wrappers in the couch cushions. lol....
ReplyDeleteI was almost expecting "any more" at the end of that...
ReplyDeleteMoms always do know!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh... sigh! You can always count on the boys for a blog entry huh?! ha ha
ReplyDeleteIt happens in every home..believe me, with my 8, I have seen it all! ;D
ReplyDeleteJulie ~ yes, I'm sure you have! LOL....and don't forget the 20 grands! Oh my!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was the same as Brian's in wondering if it could catch on fire. Hopefully he will never think of it as a campfire, but it is sweet that he cleans up and throws things in the "trash".
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Well it's better than finding the spiders I usually find in mine. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Betsy...
ReplyDeleteThanks, for sharing...I must say that the comments are quite interesting too!

SueAnn
OH MY! That SPENCE! Well, he has lots of paper shredders to fill up! I always find Legos in ours...LOTS of Legos!!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm yeah I have found some very unique items in my vents too. One time it was a dollars worth of change. You know--small slots look like a piggy bank. :)
ReplyDeleteSueAnn ~ there better not be anything in the ceiling vents! lol...
ReplyDeleteI know my builders used them as trash cans. I found McDonalds cups and wrappers down ours. My son used to put change in them, like coin dispensers.
ReplyDeleteI think Spencer must be a very clever and creative kid! He certainly 'thinks outside the box'!
ReplyDeleteMom2fur ~ yes, that certainly is true! :) Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteOur vents are all in the ceiling, thank goodness. But at a previuos house, one of the cats thew up down the register. YUCK!
ReplyDeleteCat ~ oh, I am laughing..but only because Harry has done that. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does kind of look like a paper shredder. Very creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on my reading and all I can say is OH MY GOODNESS!!!
