immediately drawn to this guy! Hey...I know this guy!
Yep, my oldest. Just look at him...why wouldn't they use him
as a model for some photographs? And yes, he did
say it was staged. He's only been in the library
twice in two years and one was for this photo session.
I used to go there for a quiet place to study.
But then, I lived in the dorms. ha.
♥
They had to use him as a model. They obviously can't afford professional models. They can't even afford chairs!
ReplyDeleteHe's only been in the library twice in two years? Wow!
ReplyDeleteYes, he is definitely tall, dark and handsome, Betsy. It certainly doesn't look like a staged photo ..he looks so intent!
ReplyDeletehahaha, I guess the library isn't what it used to be for Higher Ed. I know the one at the college I work at is looking to reduce it's collection of books and increase computer and study space. He's a handsome guy, no doubt about it. :)
ReplyDeletePat ~ he certainly is a good actor, isn't he? haha.
ReplyDeletenice...he did well...next think you know we will see him in all kinds of magazines...smiles.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing. Maybe they were just looking for a good looking guy. Has he gotten any other calls to model? LOL. He might have a new calling.
ReplyDeleteQMM
Finally the library is used for something more than collecting dust
ReplyDeleteAgree with the Fox no chairs is a bust
Are they really that cheap
Making one sit on the floor to take a peep
Wow three books at once too
That takes talent to do..lol
He is, indeed, tall, dark and handsome!
ReplyDeleteDo you have some fond memories of the dorms?
Silly men ~
ReplyDeleteChairs aren't in the aisles
To reach the books would be a trial!
No, there are nice study areas around
and cushy furniture does abound.
alaine ~ fond memories? Oh sure...I mean, you can't live in the dorms for four years without some memories! hahaha.
ReplyDeleteYeah, right, like we were SERIOUS... :)
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, chairs could be useful in the aisles. Not everyone is as tall as your son.
just last week i was wondering how your oldest was doing and here you post a photo. it is a great photo even if it was staged. i have fond memories of living in the dorm and studying in the library at ball state in muncie. fun times!!
ReplyDelete'we' ~ a fox and a cat on a team.
ReplyDeleteThis is feeling like a bad dream!
lol...kidding, JUST kidding...
julieking ~ college IS fun times!! I keep telling him to enjoy it...there isn't any other time in life like it!
ReplyDeleteIf three or more people had commented on "no chairs," I would have written "all of us." Then you'd really be scared that there was some unholy alliance going on, huh? Then you'd be using your chairs at home to barricade your doors!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Then I would have been saying "Oh, come on, people!" It's about Taylor, not the lack of chairs! Geesh!" :)
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was, thinking that Taylor was heroically calling attention to the college's budgetary woes...
ReplyDeleteha. No, but if you'd like to contribute to his tuition, he'd appreciate it. ha. Can you believe $700 per credit hour?
ReplyDeleteYes, even in my former high school where I worked, they have systematically removed most of the books from the library as kids use computers and don't read books. I hung out in the library a lot to get away from the dorm closet that I shared with someone else.
ReplyDeleteL.D. ~ dorm closet...that's a good way of putting it! With cardboard walls, right?
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool and he surely is handsome! That happened to my son once, he took our Golden in with him to get some Sr. pictures taken and they put him and the dog in the pamplets for a few years! ;D
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise that must have been! He is very handsome indeed...all your boys are. :)
ReplyDeleteyou two sure do know how to make some handsome guys! He must be quite the man on campus..;j
ReplyDeleteYes he is tall and handsome (not so dark lol)
ReplyDeleteAnd well if you can get them into the library once its better than no time at all.
lol
Betsy he is very handsome indeed .. and his photo in the university magazine will certainly be a draw card to entice the young female uni students into the library...to do a little more study!!
ReplyDeleteOh, he is gorgeous.;) And he looks so much like you.;)) I can understand that you are proud, your son would truly make a great model.;))
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend Betsy,
xoxo
Yes! Great photo...he is definitely a hunk!!!
ReplyDeleteWith online available...libraries are becoming instinct!! Sigh!!
Hugs
SueAnn
How cool is that! Yes - he's good looking and makes a great model!
ReplyDeleteWow! Look! That's me! That's me!
ReplyDeleteHe IS a tall, dark and handsome one, Betsy! Cute as they come!
ReplyDeleteSounds a little like my son who managed a degree without looking at much more than the dust jacket.

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice shot - and it helped himfind the library! Maybe he can pay his bills with a little more modeling.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! He sure is handsome, and looks like a natural! I live for the library!
ReplyDeleteHe might have a new career in his future. Library time in college was a totally social time for me, but then again, I was an art major!
ReplyDeleteNice picture! All of your boys are handsome! The "no chairs" comments made me laugh, because I will say that one of my first thoughts was why he'd study in that crowded place on the floor. :)

ReplyDeletebothsides ~ yes, and my first thought was that he was way too tall to squish into that spot. Obviously he isn't claustrophobic. ha.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture...maybe he has a future in modeling : )
ReplyDeleteMy he is tall, dark and handsome, and really looks the part of a studious learner.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see a picture of Taylor ~ you have a great family.
Great Picture!!!! He has a career ahead of him....modeling!
ReplyDeleteHe does look very into the books. Nice shot!
ReplyDeletenice .. funny story !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for your model Betsy !
ReplyDelete:-)
