I do like this. I was told that the guests were given instructions in what to wear and yellow would be off limits because that is what the Queen was wearing. I wonder if Andrew's kids thought all of that too much and decided to be a little silly.
haha never saw that before Looks like they really went all Cinderella with their lore You'd think they'd want to steer clear of that But I guess they want people to chat Being status symbols and all So maybe someone made that call But weird it truly is Bah just screw the wedding biz Costs to friggin much So just elope and spend a touch..lol
You'd just want to elope to escape the handshaking with all the blokes Who attended your wedding! So, who are you kidding Saying it's the money that's annoying When it's really germs you're avoiding? lol... oh that one cracked me up, Pat! hahaha
I too saw this on Facebook! With THOSE hats on Beatrice and Eugenie WERE the EPITOME of the ugly step sisters! OY!!! Couldn't they have hired a decent stylist to HELP THEM...a little????
I too, saw this on FB...and laughed my arse off. (Even if the cartoons were photoshopped to match the royal wedding party). The ugly step-sisters and Beatrice & Eugenie comparison is priceless!!!
Actually, it's not a coincidence, it's a hoax. The original scenes from Cinderella were Photoshopped to match the actual royal wedding costumes; even the hair of the cartoon characters was recolored to match the principal players. You can read all about it here.
Always remember, especially on forwarded emails, if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
Betsy, Those pictures of the wedding and Cinderella are too funny. I would have never thought to connect the pictures. I'm so sorry for the dove's demise. I just love doves in the yard and to hear them. Your crabapple picture is beautiful. You are a good photographer. Barbie Jo

Oh man, I don't do Facebook so this is the first I've seen this comparison. Photoshopped or not, now I feel a bit less guilty for immediately thinking of Cinder's sisters the moment I first saw poor Beatrice and Eugenie at the wedding. Sweet princesses just need a little coaching...they do have lovely rosey English complexions, however. :)
I knew I wouldn't get up in time to watch the royal wedding so I dvr'd it. I was just thinking this morning that I should really watch it. Haven't yet but now I'm thinking I really need to.
I saw this on Facebook and it totally cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is just too weird!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. I've seen it on fb and it CRACKS ME UP.
ReplyDeleteI saw it on fb too, but laugh each time I've seen it.

Pretty amazing how close those photos are.
I have to admit, I a Disney Fan, and Cinderella is one of my all time favorites. Snow White is too.
