Our holiday was last week So work tomorrow I seek Don't really want to go Would rather rhyme at my show But have a good day off Now I'll leave before I have a fit and scoff
Well, Pat you usually do a pretty good job of mixing work and the lurk!
It's not really a day off for me as my job description is the same as can be But I'll have 5 men at home so it should be fun and I'll try not to moan. lol...
Enjoy this Memorial Day ~ when I was young, we called it Decoration Day. I played the flute in my grade school band ... we had an annual parade, no matter the weather (we prayed it wouldn't be scorching hot.) Those were special days and beautiful memories of a simpler time. Enjoy those five guys of yours!
to think next week i will be at arlington memorial cemetery where we will be holding the final service for my dad.
memorial day is also the official, unofficial start of summer - up hear on the north coast it is going to be feeling like august - the high is predicted to be 90!
oy!! hope you and yours are having a good holiday weekend.
kimy ~~ wow...so neat that you get to do that for your dad. Take pics! ha...I know you will. Hope the weather is nice there next week. Such an awesome place to be.
It's HOT and HUMID here, too...ugh.
I always thin of Memorial Day as the beginning of summer. The boys have 3 days of school left.
