Well, we don't have any ground hogs. But if we did, I'm afraid
they would not see their shadows! Nothing here but ice and snow!
I guess that means spring is a long way off, at least in Ohio!
If you buy bird seed with peanuts in the mix you're bound
to get a squirrel or two! This picture was taken as
I sat at my desk Tuesday afternoon.
Going.....
By Wednesday night it will be buried in snow!
♥
Wonder where the poor little guy is now!
ReplyDeletebet he was happy for a quick meal on the way!!!

Silver Fox ~ He lives in our neighbor's maple tree! Way up high...I'll have to take a picture some time.
ReplyDeleteI'd take that squirrel over the pesky Punxsutawney rodent any day!
ReplyDeleteThe storm system is forecast to be here any minute now. Hope all our squirrels have a nest full of nuts.

My goodness, you are having it bad aren't you. I send you warm thoughts.
ReplyDeletebless you, ice is the worst!
ReplyDeletecute squirrel, the wind in Oklahoma probably blew him up to Ohio :)
He is a little cutie. I sure hope he had a good place to hunker down for this spell!!
ReplyDeleteCute as your squirrel is, they tend to "take over" and scare all the birds away around my house. We just have way too many of them around here!!!! Love your bird and mailbox sketch---so sweet. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! And since Phil didn't see his shadow, spring will be here sooner. YAY! Be safe in all that ice and snow.
ReplyDeleteYou can't begrudge him the peanuts when the snow is that thick - and getting thicker? Oh my, stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeletea great place for a squirrel to live .. I was kind of hoping it was a she...
ReplyDeleteELK ~ well, I guess it could be a she~! I didn't look that close! haha
ReplyDeleteAmyL< ~ is that how it works? No shadow means spring is soon? Maybe I got it backwards. Hard to believe with the weather we are getting, though! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I saw a fox last night and one deer, two cats and a squirrel today. Which isn't bad as I live in a town!
ReplyDeleteHe is so precious!
ReplyDeleteToo Cute!!!
