Betsy, I just love your posts--they leave one with a nice "warm" feeling after reading them. I have well over a hundred cookbooks--(which translates into how many thousand recipes!), but your chicken minestrone soup looked so good I copied down the recipe--I'll try it this week. And, the old adage "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" still applies. Keep the good "scents" coming from the stove and save your perfume for the days you go out. Keep warm!
we're supposed to go down to -25 tonight and then I get to go to work in the morning. eeek! if there's no wind, it's bearable. but - anything means wind.
Cali Girl ~ it's been extremely cold like that here, too! Just bitterly cold. Wind would have made it intolerable. We're barely above zero today...tonight it's going to be soooo cold! Stay warm!
~ so beautiful, my friend

beautiful pictures! but please keep that snow and don't send it here. It is supposed to warm up to 50 tomorrow and I can hardly wait.

ReplyDeleteVery jealous. I've just come back from my 5:30am constitutional and have broken into a sweat it's so hot and humid. Throw me a snowball please!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of the icicles dripping down. While I'm not crazy about the cold, I must admit that winter does look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe red door and Mr. Cardinal add a bit a sunshine to the snowy day.
