  4. Silver ~ they were looking right at me...silly birds. :) And yes, the feeder WAS empty!

  5. Christine ~ It's a variety mix of seed...it has peanuts,corn and other things in it. It's Songbird brand. It's from Walmart.

  15. thanks for the reminder!! didn't get to it this morning and best fill my feeders up now before one of my little squirrels starts a banging on the window - well, no,they haven't banged, but almost bang, one guy comes up to the second floor window and stares in if i'm at the computer!!

  20. So cute! I had a hummingbird this summer that would buzz around my head waiting for me to fill his feeder. I had to really resist the urge to swat at him...the buzzing was a bit unnerving! I'm so glad we have birds in the winter...they are a breath of spring on a winter day!
    PS Loved the train photos...reminds me of visiting the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The trains were a favorite!
