And this year I'm extra excited because I know the photographer
of these beautiful bird pictures! And maybe you know him, too,
if you blog with Roy Hilbinger!
If you're interested to see what he has for sale, click HERE.
Thanks, Roy! Still wishing you were close enough
to put your autograph on it! :)
That calendar would be beautiful. I'm lucky; my birthday is in early January and my daughter always buys me a Pug calendar.
ReplyDeleteroy's bird photos BLOW me away. thanks for the head's up, how i wish my pa was still alive, as a fellow birder and photographer he would love roy's snaps of our feathered friends. will have to order a calendar to have on hand for another bird loving bud...my own calendar traditions are old and established: mouse house calendar for kitchen, cat lovers against the bomb for bedroom and syracuse cultural workers calendar for office. just not enough rooms. ha ha

ReplyDeletePictures of birds are always so enticing as it is rarely we get the pleasure to actually see birds in such details ourselves.;)

I was a big fan of The Byrds back in the 1960s, before David Crosby left them to form Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
ReplyDeleteOh, wait, that's "birds" with an "I?" Of course, I loved that classic Hitchcock film. Tippi Hedren was really good in it.
All kidding aside, Roy's photography is top-notch, and I highly recommend his calendars to anybody!
Wow!! Love the calendar...I haven't seen Roy's work so I must now go and check it out. Thanks for the link!

Your first photo is perfect - a little fur on the ice skates for the only girl in the house. It is so you!
ReplyDeleteRoy is such a great photographer, isn;t he? Last time I was over there I was amazed at his photos of the smallest things. Beautiful and I'm sure this calendar is too.
ReplyDeleteI have one too for new year from my mother--yet another from the Women's Institute of Norfolk of the Norfolk broads. I'm getting a wee bit tired of the same ol shots each month but hey, it's a bit of England so that is good.
