how sweet, Betsy. These cute little birds of yours working together to create their holiday decor, I LOVE the idea! Adorable. enjoyed tea with, you, too! xxoo
This is adorable!..I thought of you Sunday at our Tea cup exchange as one of the ladies got two bird-themed vintage-looking ornaments...Would have been perfect for you!
Great Betsy. It does speak of Holidays. We watch our birds through our breakfast room and I put red ribbons on the bird feeders and all the posts out there. LOL Sounded like you had a great time at the Tea you looked so beautiful. Blessings QMM
Another incredible illustration, Betsy. So darling. I love, of course, the little English like robins and adding the tartan is a great touch. A touch of Torosay, perhaps? :)
Thank you so much for finding the time during these hols and our Tea party to do this. I'm adding it the montage now.
Mmm ~ the little english robins are a little skinny! haha. After I was finished I thought they needed to be round and plump! Oh well. :) Yes, maybe torosay was still on my mind....
Oh, Betsy, I love your sweet and helpful birds. Your wreath is absolutely amazing...so much fabulous detail. You have much more patience than I do. Well done!
I was also completely reminded of Cinderella and her helpful feather friends...its a film that gets watched alot around here! Such a lovely piece and so full of that sweet festive holiday feel. :)
I love the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Birdie that live outside your kitchen window have come to help you decorate for the holidays! It's so neighborly of them.
I love it! You should put your drawings as your headers.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that does say Holiday!!! I agree, your drawings would be darling headers.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cute, looks like the birds are busy undoing, maybe they will build a nest in there too! ;D
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, the birds are creating the bow, how enchanted.;))

I like the robins interacting with the ribbon. It adds a lot of movement to your drawing. I can almost feel the chill in the air and taste the cider!
