That was nice of those birds to come and visit you and pose for these lovely pictures! Birds around here have a tendency to fly away when they see the camera....
I like to look out my kitchen window and watch birds hopping around on my deck. I'd put out seeds, but I know the squirrels would gobble them all up. Do you not have that problem?
Stevie ~ for a few years after our cats died, we had a lot of squirrels that raided the feeder! This year I haven't seen any and it just occurred to me that we have a few stray cats in the neighborhood. :)
Lady Bird of Ohio.. These are great pics outside your window.. don't know how their little bodies take the cold; I guess the good Lord just made them different than I... :) The Bach Lord Thomas of Wellington
I love it when birdies get all puffed out. My granny used to sing to me when I was a wee one: "Down by the station, early in the morning, see the little puff-a-bellies all in a row!" I'm always reminded of that.
you have such life bursting out all around you. .these photos are adorable. I can't believe you see such wonders each day. That one of the blue jay is incredible with all those berries of red in the snow. Wow. I love it. how magnificent. you are very blessed indeed to take in such small adorable wonders. Awww.
