Oh Betsy.. you gave me the fuel I needed for a much needed laugh. These photos & accompanying captions cracked me up! Your sons are so handsome. Thanks for cheering me up xx Kath
Ah, this made me smile with amusement! It reminds me of my sister trying to get a Christmas greeting photo taken of her 3 kids, age 9, 6 and 1, about a year ago, when her youngest daughter was 1 moth old. She said she did in the evening and they were all tired and the little one kept screaming her lungs out. Finally she ended up using the first picture, the only one that was semi acceptable, although she took at least 50.;)) xoxo
MarieElizabeth ~ it sure brings back memories of my parents trying to take pictures. My dad would take an entire roll of film. It took forever! Our smiles faded for sure. ha. Of course this was before digital and you couldn't even see if you got a good picture until you got them all developed!
Ooh I think you should use either one of these....they are so true to their nature, and so funny ! Bless 'em they have to put up with a lot, taking pictures early in the morning...sheesh. :)
That's hilarious Bets. Nothing impatient, squirrely kids when you're trying to take a photo. My sons would always do the opposite of one another...one would look tough, you know macho, and the other would smile. Then I'd yell and they reverse roles. They thought it was funny.
I know exactly how you feel Betsy, I've spent most of the evening trying to do our family Christmas Newsletter. There has been a lot of cropping, cutting & pasting of photos of all the boys taken during the year. Mainly to cut out the beer bottles & ciggies they seem to be constantly clutching!! Millie ^_^
That is so flippin cute! How did you get them to stand there that long even?! Very funny ;D
ReplyDeleteYOu are nothing if you're not clever. I like this much better than anything I've seen in a long time. Merry Christmas,
ReplyDeleteJulie ~ it was only about 15 seconds...but I'm sure they thought it felt like a lot longer! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm rolling on the floor laughing!!!! Talk about spreading Christmas cheer! Poor guys. They just want to be left alone.
ReplyDeleteYou could use any one of them, and they would work. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you could improve on these...they brought a smile to my face and isn't that what a Christmas card should do? (-:
ReplyDeleteThey are just so darn cute...any one of those could be your card and it would fit perfectly..;j
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! Love the hats...they make me giggle too!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo shoot!!
Hugs
