Awe, isn't that a nice feeling? My daughter is 15 and still holds my hand when we walk anywhere. My son doesn't want to be touched, no hugs, no kisses, no hand holding. It's a rare occasion when he offers up a hug on his own and it feels like the sea has parted when he does!
I can relate to your photo. At 27, there are many times when J.W. will hold my hand. That is a gift.
