Taking Flight

"Taking Flight" is the theme for this week's Creative Tuesday sketch.
And knowing my love of birds, you aren't at all surprised that I
had to draw one for this theme, right?
And I thought goggles and an aviator cap would be just the
right touches...along with a scarf! :)
This cute little Blue Tit Bird was my inspiration.
And since they are so darling, I thought one should
be included in my header for a change!

  9. Betsy you are so talented. What a cute picture. I was wondering if you have seen Molly "the world famous barn owl" on line? She is beautiful, if you can get past her carnivorous ways!

  13. I can see why you got inspired by the Blue Tit Bird. He looks like he has goggles on. Very clever.

  14. Betsy-you could spend all day watching-the 2nd clutch of baby owls are about to "fledge". There were 4 in the first clutch and all survived-sadly this time only two have survived. If you watch at night Molly and Mcgee bring the food, which is partly the bad part! Molly has inspired books, gifts etc. I'm not totally sure why but I have become a fan!

  15. mhowe ~ I can see how it could become addicting. I never knew the babies slept standing like that! I'll have to wait until nighttime to see the parents!
