And knowing my love of birds, you aren't at all surprised that I
had to draw one for this theme, right?
And I thought goggles and an aviator cap would be just the
right touches...along with a scarf! :)
And since they are so darling, I thought one should
be included in my header for a change!

Meant to say "watch" out.....
ReplyDeletecute little birdie...ameks me think of the cartoons i watched as a kid...playful pic betsy!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Larry! I thought he needed a little whimsy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI do like the aviator cap and goggles. Nice touch and so cute.
ReplyDeleteBetsy you are so talented. What a cute picture. I was wondering if you have seen Molly "the world famous barn owl" on line? She is beautiful, if you can get past her carnivorous ways!
ReplyDeletemhowe ~No, I have not heard of Molly! I'll go look her up! :)
ReplyDeletemhowe ~ oooh...I just found the ustream live webcam! How fun!
ReplyDeleteIf anybody wants to see Molly the barn owl go here...

thanks marilyn!
Cute! His whimsy made me smile.
ReplyDeleteAdorable drawing, especially with the "accessories!"
ReplyDeleteI can see why you got inspired by the Blue Tit Bird. He looks like he has goggles on. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteBetsy-you could spend all day watching-the 2nd clutch of baby owls are about to "fledge". There were 4 in the first clutch and all survived-sadly this time only two have survived. If you watch at night Molly and Mcgee bring the food, which is partly the bad part! Molly has inspired books, gifts etc. I'm not totally sure why but I have become a fan!
ReplyDeletemhowe ~ I can see how it could become addicting. I never knew the babies slept standing like that! I'll have to wait until nighttime to see the parents!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love the new header! Very nice! Secondly, your drawing is so cute, I especially love the scarf! :)
