Theme Thursday = Brown

Once upon a time there was a girl I knew, who lived across the street. Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that ever happened to me that mattered, in some way had to do with her. ~~The Wonder Years
.
Someone once threw me a small, brown, hairy kiwi fruit, and I threw a wastebasket over it until it was dead.” ~~Erma Bombeck
.
I look into your great brown eyes, Where love and loyal homage shine, And wonder where the difference lies Between your soul and mine! ~~Josiah G
.
Do not expect the world to look bright, if you habitually wear gray-brown glasses.
.
I cannot pretend to be impartial about the colors. I rejoice with the brilliant ones, and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns. ~~Winston Churchill

  6. i got faked out - thought you had a chocolate lab....and was going to say it could be the sib of the lab i'm posting - whose name fittingly is coco!!!

  7. Love those chocolate brown eyes. Both pairs....

Now I was sure you baked the cake because it looked like one of your cake plates.

I to laugh when I saw the bags of coffee beans....check out my post today....I was standing in a pile of them.

Great pictures for your "brown" theme.

  8. Who can't fall in love with that puppy. Sweet.

And who knew there were so many statements about brown. Wow.

  9. Like Churchill, I tend to rejoice with all the brilliant colors, but brown has it's charms as well. There's nothing like a well worn brown leather chair for comfort, or wearing a brown trench coat to feel stylish.
