Someone once threw me a small, brown, hairy kiwi fruit, and I threw a wastebasket over it until it was dead.” ~~Erma Bombeck

Ah, two of your photos included my favorite brown things! (I'll let you guess... )
ReplyDeleteOh, who can resist a chocolate lab! Adorable, is he yours???
ReplyDeleteCoffee beans...cannot live without!
CM ~ oh no, he isn't mine. Only the eyes belong to me! LOL! The rest are from google. :) But he is adorable, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteoh excellent wonder years quote...and that lab is adorable. but coffee makes the post for me...straight black...or really dark brown...smiles.
ReplyDeleteBetsy, this is a lovely post!!!!
ReplyDeletei got faked out - thought you had a chocolate lab....and was going to say it could be the sib of the lab i'm posting - whose name fittingly is coco!!!
ReplyDeleteit is funny how the images you choose so coincide with many that i also choose! lab, coffee, brown eyes, leaf....
Love those chocolate brown eyes. Both pairs....
ReplyDeleteNow I was sure you baked the cake because it looked like one of your cake plates.
I to laugh when I saw the bags of coffee beans....check out my post today....I was standing in a pile of them.
Great pictures for your "brown" theme.
Who can't fall in love with that puppy. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnd who knew there were so many statements about brown. Wow.
Like Churchill, I tend to rejoice with all the brilliant colors, but brown has it's charms as well. There's nothing like a well worn brown leather chair for comfort, or wearing a brown trench coat to feel stylish.
ReplyDeletePUPPY!
ReplyDeleteAnd you just had to put up a pic of that cake again, didn't you? :P...
I used to love the "Wonder Years" and Winnie, the brown eyed neighbor. The photos are an excellent sampling of the color brown and you gotta love Erma Bombeck!
ReplyDeleteI love brown, I have always preferred it instead of black in clothing.;)
ReplyDeleteThe puppy picture is so cute.;)
