Beautiful, Betsy. Tonight in our MasterLife class we talked about being an Encourager..and how when you give, or help it comes back 10, 60 and 100 fold.
i have often wondered about the expression A Friend In Need ,Is A Friend Indeed.........The common assumption is when We are in need, that's when we know our true friends. On the other hand, another way of looking at it is that someone might be your friend because they need something from You! That Is A Cynical View.I much prefer Flora's view of The World!
Wanda and Brian ~ oh it's true, isn't it! I've always said that when I feel like my world is crashing down, I need to get off my butt and do something to encourage someone else. I always end up encouraged myself. :)
Like Niecy Nash says, when the hand is open to give, it is open to receive. I've always felt if I give from my heart it doesn't matter if the recipient was truley needing help or taking advantage of the situation. Either way, it's still a deposit in my Karma bank! And the best part is, it is so much fun to give when people aren't expecting it! It is a cynical world and people are surprised by "nice". It should be the other way around.
Hi Betsy... Just checkin in on everyone... got a call from Trish... many changes going on in her life!! She may just need a little help getting back into the swing of life!!
Thank you for your heartfelt and beautiful contribution to the theme. Inspiring! I took a rather tongue-in-cheek approach to the TT this week...thanks for stopping by and commenting. :) -C
