This acrostic is especially for my dear friends
to a sudden halt if I don't include an acrostic
in my Theme Thursday posts! LOL!
Enjoy, gentlemen. :)

The last lunar eclipse was 6-26-10. If you missed
it, the next one is 12-21-10!
ha a lovely acrostic betsy...great shot too...great take on the theme...hapy theme thursday!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, both the text and the photo!
ReplyDeleteVery cool photo and lovely words to go with! :D
ReplyDeleteWonderful entry for your Theme Thursday. "BALL"
ReplyDeleteLove the photo...and the acrostic.
Somehow the Sesame Street short of "Lucille" comes to mind...
ReplyDeleteMartha ~ Lucille would have been a great 'ball' to do for Theme Thursday! haha. I would have, if I had thought of it. She's the best!
ReplyDeleteOops! It was Cecile.

Great job on theme thursday and you've kept your audience happy with the acrostic.
ReplyDeleteMartha ~ Oh...LOL!!! That is even BETTER than Lucille! Ha. I haven't thought of Cecile in years! What a great take on the theme...you should join in! haha. Love her lips!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone recognized the building in the picture, I'd love to know the location! I got it from googleimages but it didn't have any information with it.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, I wish I had an iced coffee to drink that looked as yummy as the one in your sidebar. Maybe it's the straw. Maybe it's the flavored syrups in the background. But it looks so yummy! Each morning I make my coffee and only drink a couple sips of it hot. Then I put the mug in the freezer and a couple of hours later it is just a little frozen/slushy on the top and edges. It's pretty yummy, but the presentation of yours is just so tempting! May have to purchase some of those syrups. :)
ReplyDeletejilly ~ :) They are from Sams Club! Your slushy sounds good! I've been like you....after the first cup it's on ice for the rest of the day!
ReplyDeleteThat was a unique take on the theme! I would have gone with the unimaginative and obvious baseball, since it's the season and what occupies so much of our time this part of the year!
ReplyDeleteA short but most rounded acrostic today ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great image.
ReplyDeleteStair steps to Paradise!
ReplyDeleteLovely, my Dear!
:) The Bach
Do you sigh in relief - acrostically speaking - when the theme is a short word or decry the loss of opportunity to share your creativity?
ReplyDeleteacrostic of repeating myself,Betsy, you have a lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteAlan ~ you would think the short ones would be easier, but that usually isn't the case! Like 'blue' last week...just couldn't do it! Ball was an easy one, though. :)
ReplyDeleteTony ~ you always say the sweetest things! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteit is a great image. i read through the comments to see if you gave the origin. cute acrostic too. i think i'm too lazy for those.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a beautiful image showing the different phases.
ReplyDeletebeautiful acrobats.
ReplyDeletelove your ball image and witty words.
Great take on the theme! I actually considered including some of my full moon shots for today, but decided to stick with flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful posting Betsy. You will have to check out my humble attempt at my first acrostic. I made sure to give you credit!
ReplyDeleteFantastic posts both in word and photo
ReplyDeleteThat is the most clever thing I have read and seen today!
ReplyDeleteDecember 21st? Darn, better set my alarm clock...!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad my own acrostic chiefdom can inspire you as such, Betsy! Another great job. LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Alan has a very good point there actually. ha.
Mmm ~ your acrostic chiefdom??? Oh my...wait until Mr. Fox reads that!
ReplyDeleteSorry...but nobody showed me a good acrostic for 'blue'. ;)
Anita ~ thank you! that means a lot coming from you! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought Sharp-Eyed Reader had a cute one for "blue."
ReplyDeleteI thought Roy's acrostic for "blue" was even better than Sharpie's, though.
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox ~ I stand corrected...both of those acrostics were great. I had forgotten them!
ReplyDeleteAnd we can't forget the best acrostic of all...your supercali one! ;)
Ok, Silver Fox does take the crown there but follow through and consistency is important too.
ReplyDeleteThat's one awesome photo.
ReplyDeleteSCREEEEEEEEECH!
ReplyDeleteVROOOOOOOOOOOM!
Jeffscape ~ LOL!! :)
ReplyDeleteMmm ~ aww..thanks, Mr. Toast! Are you sticking up for me? cute. ha.
ReplyDeleteSo...nobody knows what building that is in the picture? I really wanted to know!
This is very very cool!
