Great camera, I wish it were mine. We always had slide shows growing up, Aunts and Uncles sharing trips to exotic places like Waupaka, Wisconsin. We spent many hours learning the names of relatives, alive and dead, who they married and most important, what church they attended. Sometimes I burn a DVD of old pictures and show it at our gatherings, but it's not the same. I can almost smell the scent of the slide burning in the projector...pass the popcorn please!
Wow Betsy, what an incredible blog and inspiring mother you are! I flew over here after I saw your comment on my own blog. So nice to meet you. Love your iced coffee picture. The best iced coffee is home-brewed. mmmmmm.
What a lovely old camera. I found an old camera in a building that I was clearing out at my mom's house last month. Yours is far older and prettier though. Great TT post.
Beautiful, sharp work, with leather. They just don't make those kind of things anymore. It's just like old pictures. I have one of my grandfather's, it's in a duo-tang in leather (no, no, it's not a fixation!!!). Hummm. Good old time.
Your blog is so delightful! Thanks for commenting on mine, and I can guess that you are a bright spot in the lives of others! May God richly bless you. Gloria
Great picture! Is that camera yours?
ReplyDeleteI have some really old ones that belonged to my dad but I can't seem to get the picture I want of them!
What a great camera. It looks almost like one my Dad had. Have no idea where it is today...probably my brother has it after Dad passed.
