this is what I found. Of course, I had to go get my camera
and add to my series of posts on silly sleeping positions!
fashion, Spencer seems to always be squishing Harry.
Yet Harry doesn't seem to mind!
Yes, that is Harry completely buried in
limbs not belonging to himself! ha!
I guess if you have been together since
the womb, it's hard to break the habit!
When they outgrew one crib and we moved
them each to their own...they would hold
hands between the bars! Awww.
Then they got old enough to all crawl into one.
I think the lines of autism and the connection of
triplets blur here...they aren't concerned with
what would be normal or wanting their own
room or even own bed. And they won't lay down
at night until everyone is in place!
I've been intrigued with the connections between twins, triplets, etc. ever since reading a Golden Age Classics Illustrated comic book adaptation of Dumas' "The Corsican Brothers" which I discovered when I was not quite twelve years old.
ReplyDeleteFun post!
Awwww, so endearing. They look like well rested boys!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THAT.
ReplyDeleteThe holding hands from crib to crib is PRICELESS.
Jill used the word on the tip of my tongue - Priceless! Thanks for sharing, Betsy.
ReplyDeletesweet, funny, cozy.
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable. Thanks for sharing your story.
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful that they each have one another...a bond we don't even understand...maybe you do. :D
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, what ever works so that everyone gets a good night sleep! We don't want anyone waking up on the wrong side of the bed!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos. They seem to be most comfortable together and touching. Hard habits to break. Holding hands in the cribs - precious.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable...so touching. I love the hands through the crib bars too. How very special.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter that is visiting us was in a terrible car accident 20 years ago, and cannot bend her knee and it's hard for her to sleep on the couch....Bless Don's heart...he took the couch, and Jill and I shared the bed, and it brought back so many memories of her crawling into our bed when she was little.
I love that the boys want and need each other. That is priceless.
The boys look so cute together. We cannot even know the closeness that they feel for each other, but these pics really do a good job of showing us about their closeness.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
God bless.
This is what makes it all worthwhile. Thanks for the endearing photographs of your sweet children.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. How great that they do not have to go through life alone. God has given them a special bond that can't be broken.
ReplyDeleteI am curious though. What size bed do they sleep in?
Martha ~ we tried each in their own twin size and they still tried to pile into one. So we just scooted them together and eventually took one out. So it's two twins together, which is like a king size bed. Crazy! ha.
ReplyDeleteWanda ~ your hubby was sweet to do that...but I'm not a bit surprised!
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox ~ you'll have to fill me in on The Corsican Brothers! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet Betsy. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteEven asleep, love knows no boundaries.
ReplyDeleteThat photo brings tears to my eyes. It's just so sweet and poignant and I don't know ... struggling for the right words, here ... It's the essence of what is best in human connection, I think ... complete trust. That and pure love.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they have a wonderful bond. So precious!
ReplyDeletethat is so funny! It is a good thing they all like to do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is so sweet! No wonder you collect these pictures.
ReplyDeletei think that is rather adorable in its own way, actually. those photos are funny.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special bond they have and such a mystery to the rest of the world. Wouldn't you love to live in their world for just a moment and see life through their eyes?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great entry....and great pics!
ReplyDeleteSweet pictures. You seem to have a fantastic grasp on their individuality, needs, and development. I think we could all take a lesson here - being in tune with your child or children is very important and you never quit being the mom (or dad). I think that is kind of cool!
ReplyDeleteThis has been my Sunday morning meditation. Your photos, your dear, dear boys, your warm and insightful followers...and especially your total outlook on it all. I feel humbled just being a little part of it.
ReplyDeletePeace be with you, Betsy, and....a super old fashioned cyber hug
((((((((((((((Betsy)))))))))))))!
Firelight ~ you are too sweet. Thank you so very much!
ReplyDeleteBetsy these photos are priceless.. moments like this are priceless!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are beautiful & happy doing this sleeping thing just as they have their entire life. It feels safe, it's comforting & it just feels right!
