"Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young"
Psalm 84:3
My little nest is in serious need
of spring cleaning! Getting ready
for a garage sale is the perfect
incentive to remove junk! :)
Looks like Mrs. Bird here has
five men herself! LOL!

  8. that is a cute picture - reminds me of a title of a new book called "Didn't I Just Feed You Yesterday?"

I am spring cleaning too - but would rather go to yard sales than host one - I gave away my first pile on FreeCycle and have second big pile already.

  13. Oh may you are talking about work. I adore that picture. It is fun to sit on the deck and watch the birds. Never thought that would one day be the highlight of my day, but blessings do come with retirement for sure. blessings dear Betsy.

  14. I'm determined to use the next few weeks wisely. My garage is in desperate need of spring cleaning. My pantry is in the same shape.

The family photo you used on Mother's day is so sweet. I hope you enjoyed a relaxing holiday with your men.

  17. I feel like that mama-bird as this point in my life. When people ask how we're doing I say, "Fine, but we'd be doing GREAT if no one had to eat!"

  19. I need to have a yard sale too. Half the work is in pricing. Do you think I could just set out a "donation" jar instead?

  20. Great bird photo. I know what you mean about Spring cleaning. Once you do get rid of stuff and you have room to breathe, it feels great.

  21. After that garage sale last year I just couldn't quite stomach another one. Most of what I had around the house was clothes, which don't usually sell well and need to go to goodwill, or things that go better on ebay. But I'm cleaning out...you saw!

  22. Kayren ~ I know you have...you inspired me! I got so much done today! I know what you mean about the yearly sales...I can't do that. I haven't had one in a long time...I do a one day only,...short and sweet.
