think I'm crazy. :) But if you had my five
men all weekend, you'd be happy to send
them out the door on Monday morning, too!
With kisses and wishes for a good day, of course!
And thank you all so much for your kind
Mother's Day wishes to me. Your
encouragement means so much!
I like Mondays too, after the weekend, it is my time to get the house back in order and clear my head after the weekend busyness.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you!
I like the complementary colours of this flower and its leaves.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful Monday morning post.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Your post rocks!
happy mothers day a day late..but you will enjoy today even more.. it is a calm sending out the door that I recall as well with two girls and a guy..
ReplyDeleteI understand your logic completely!
ReplyDeleteRhonda ~ exactly....housework in the solitude never felt so good! ha. Monday is my day to regroup and plan the week.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are so pretty. And I sorta agree. Monday's are a nice break from a sometimes hectic weekend. Hope you are enjoying your day!
ReplyDeletesmiles. hope you had a great mothers day...and enjoy the day today!
ReplyDeleteHello there! Mondays bring hope for a new and wonderful week - and it stretches out there (seemingly forever)in front of us. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeletei get that. if I didn't have to work, I'd take off Mondays and go do my own thing, sans family!
ReplyDeleteso happy to stop by for a visit today, my dear

ReplyDeleteI'm reading your sidebar... Sounds yummy. I wish I could be so organized but I'm afraid I don't have it in me. (Thanks for the postcard.)
I always liked Mondays too...for that same reason! lOL Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteMartha ~ I'm trying to be good...way too many cookies lately! ha.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how nice a quiet Monday morning would be:) I'm always moving a little slow on Monday mornings myself. I have to ease into it with a couple of cups of coffee!
ReplyDeleteI get it...I love Mondays when they are a day of unwinding or when I have accomplished all my tasks for the weekend...it's a fun fresh start!
ReplyDeleteOther times (like today) they are exhausting :)
Solar ~ you need to have 3 more kids and get them all into school..then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about! ;)
ReplyDeleteI actually like Mondays too. It's usually the start to some new goals which is invigorating!
ReplyDeleteMondays are a fresh start... most of the time I like them but sometimes I'm a little slow moving.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of you with the little ones...where does time go? I like Mondays too, but now that
ReplyDeleteI work with my husband, the days are pretty much the same. :-) I sometimes miss my "me" time! Small world about Wheaton College, I remember hearing about the show The Day of Discovery!
I'm a Saturday Girl! Because my Monday is you probably your Saturday and your Monday is my Saturday. Maybe my Sunday is like your Sunday and your Tuesday isn't like my Tuesday. Then there is Wednesday which is totally like every Wedneday. Unless you are my husband who's Wednesday is like your Monday and like my Saturday.
ReplyDeleteChristine ~ LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful oxalis. I lost my red one but my green one is doing well. Yes, I sensed that it was good for me to go back to work on Monday. Now that I am retired, it good for me to go outside.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for loving Monday.....
ReplyDeleteColor of your plant is awesome....it's happy!
I feel ya on this one Betsy! Oh we do love our men but oh it is so lovely to hear nothing but the tick of a clock, the tweet of a bird & no head-banging music in the house. A nice little sanity break is needed by the best of mums!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your Monday!!!
I can appreciate that! My husband must feel the same way. He has three human females and two canine females to escape!
ReplyDeleteKatherine ~ oh yes, you ARE a kindred spirit, aren't you! :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, its been a while since I've wrote, hope you and the boys are doing good. Life gets so busy sometimes. Your blog is as wonderful as ever, glad I stopped by. Ronda
ReplyDeleteRonda ~ hey there! so glad you stopped by! Hope you are doing well...I'm pop over for a visit soon!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get by to wish you a happy Mother's Day, so Happy Belated Mother's Day! You're a blessing to those boys. It's summer vacation soon for you, isn't it? Then you'll be looking forward to the start of school again I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I like Thursday evenings--tomorrow! Whoohee. :)
ReplyDeleteMondays make total sense for you--a chance to recharge the batteries and such.
Oh yeah! I love Mondays too. I love having the kids home but when they're in school is all the break I get. Sometimes I feel a guilty but hubby tells me my job is from 3pm to 8:00 am with two 24 hr. shifts on weekends. He does what he can but his job pretty much wipes him out. Yeah, I love Mondays.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Mother's Day!
