Citrus Gumdrops...

... from Trader Joe's took me back to Siesta Key for a
moment...especially the Key Lime flavored ones!
Thanks to my friend, Marcia, who sent me the
header picture she snapped during our walk.

I've never cared for Gumdrops, but you serve them up so nicely, I might try one.

  11. Your header pic is so beautiful. It would be fun to be lounging on the beach right now.
I love key lime pie, but haven't had it in a long time. It always seems like a light dessert, maybe because of the citrus.
    Love gumdrops and Trader Joes.

  12. I always think gumdrops look much better than they taste. Yours are especially pretty.

  13. oooooooo, Siesta Key beach looks nice too. I think we drove over it enroute to Sarasota. Is Siesta Key teeny tiny & very affluent?

  14. Cali Girl ~ yes, that would be a great way to describe it! :) Did you drive through St. Armand Circle?

  15. The only circle I remember is the chi chi one in Sarasota admist the high end shops...sort of the Gulf Side's version of Palm Beach. I remember Longboat Key as being a long stretch of, for the most part, upscale condos and lovely beachfront. After that, a big high bridge and then Sarasota?

  16. St Armand Circle is a glitzy stretch of shops...kinda reminded me of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills...but smaller scaled.

That bridge you are thinking of is The Causeway....gorgeos! I loved it every time we had to take that route.
