doorway, doesn't he? I've been tempted to wear
my sunglasses in the house while the sun reflects off
of the snow! LOL! The guys were certainly mesmerized
with the falling snow last week as it fell continuously for
a couple of days. We got 25 inches but some has melted
away with the rain. Nothing cozier than being inside
and watching the snow. Ahh...think I'll have a cup of tea!
betsy you captured his expression so well here . without the sunglasses!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so very content. Snow has such a calming quality.
ReplyDeletesmiles. i might just have a cup of tea now as well.
ReplyDeleteHi, Alex. Whacha lookin' at?
ReplyDeleteJust a delightful picture ~ love the expression..yes, an angel.
ReplyDeleteAnd a perfect time for a cup of tea.
I just noticed the headphones... any particular reason for him?
ReplyDeleteChachaneen ~ those are for his hyper-sensitive ears. They muffle the volume a bit for him. Life became so much more enjoyable when he didn't have to use his fingers to plug his ears all the time. That picture also shows his kyphosis very well...the forward bend of his spine...as if he doesn't have enough going on...poor buddy. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart...I love his cheeks...
ReplyDeletewow, your really getting it!
well, enjoy it while it lasts...spring is around the corner, I hope.

Deep in ponderance....
ReplyDeleteYes, an angel :)
I'll take a cup please !
Where I live, it's been a weird winter. We have a snowstorm, and then the weather stays nice enough until 90-95% of the snow is gone... Then it snows again! (Lather, rinse, repeat.)
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox ~ I think we're stuck in the lather mode! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have "line" for that, but I'd better not use it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI never tire of watching snow! When it snowed here a few weeks ago I kept saying, "It feels like an Ohio day." And don't you love the gleaming quality of light that fills the house?!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Alex, I could watch the snow fall for hours. It's mesmerizing & beautiful.
ReplyDeletethat is a lot. of. snow! I would definitely have cabin fever by now but all seems well at your place..;p
ReplyDeleteAwwww.. darling photos of Alex. Yes, angelic like there. Also, can't help but notice how incredibly clean and organized everything looks. methinks some lady works VERY VERY hard all day long! Keep shining like that snow.
ReplyDeleteAlex looks so content! Snow does have a mesmerizing effect, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love the first picture. It looks so contemplative and escapist in a certain way.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been beautiful, but I am sure you are happy the snow is somewhat gone.
xo
Zuzana
25 inches....wow!
ReplyDeleteI have to wear my sunglasses all the time in snow....blinding too these green eyes!!!
jojo ~ no cabin fever here...I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo glad he enjoyed watching it fall...it is SO beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese gray days though...sigh...they are a bit daunting.
Jill ~ you sound so much like The Mister...he needs that sunshine or he starts to feel grey himself!
ReplyDeleteNanny ~ yes, but I meant wearing the sunglasses while indoors! ha!
ReplyDeleteAlex looks very deep in thought. The snow does have a way of capturing our imagination. It snowed very lightly here yesterday afternoon. The snow was falling at such a slow pace that it looked like I was in a snowglobe when I looked out my eigth floor window at work. Keep snow gazing, Alex : )
ReplyDeleteSo neat to watch it fall. Cleaning up is not as much fun usually.
ReplyDeleteAlex looks like he's deep in thought. What is it about snow that makes us stare out the window? Pretty room!
ReplyDeleteNot to mention having a nice wood fire burning. That adds to the atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteEven though I am getting so tired of it all, I can sit in my large dining room window and just enjoy it's peace. It is a great photo of your son. You will treasure that picture as the years go by.
ReplyDeleteMmm ~ hey, thanks for noticing! :)
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox..ok...behave, now! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what Alex was listening to as he pondered all that snow . . .
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your boys through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteAlex is an angel!! Love, Unks
ReplyDeleteLooks like Alex has found a good spot for a day dream. Lovely pictures of him, Betsy. :)
ReplyDeleteIt makes sense than an angel would give birth to angels, so yes, he looks like what he is, an angel. Lovely photo, by the way.
