I think you're getting way more snow than us, unless they've changed our forecast. I need to check.

  11. That's a clever take on polka dots. Smart gal. nice photo too and you know, polka dots on faces, especially with tans can be quite charming too but doubt your son wants to hear that, right? :)

  13. Excellent. I thought this was such a hard one but I'm delighted at the responses. So inventive. He's a little cutie. Not too much sun or the dots will join!

  15. Ah what a sweet photo. I, for one, am looking forward to the return of the sun - polka dots or not. Happy TT Betsy.

  16. As always - a great take on this Thursday theme. I get freckles too, but only from the spring sun. They disappear within days when I get a golden tan.;)

  23. Wonderful photo.

I had a lot of freckles in the summer as a kid and hated them, and I hate the results of too much sun now that I'm way past childhood!

  31. How wonderful! So those aren't freckles at all? I can't wait to tell my little nephew that he has a case of the polka dots!

  34. Put him in a ski mask to prevent the freckles. Just keep him away from convenience stores!

No? Too drastic. Well, then, I'm all out of ideas. ;)

  35. SWEET!!!

happy tt and happy new year/decade!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jeffscape ~ LOL! he'd look a raccoon after a day in the sun with a ski mask! That would be worse than freckles!

  37. Hi Betsy,

What a cutie pie. I love those polka dots!

    ReplyDelete

  39. When I was a kid I was very unhappy that I didn't have dimples like my mom and sister and brother or green eyes like my dad and oldest brother. I felt nondescript. Until one day my mom told me that I have something better (or at least just as good). I have freckles and they are kisses from the sun. And that's why I love my freckles best of all my features.

Great post by the way. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Cuppa Jo ~ well, I have dimples too...or just one. ha!

  41. Freckles are so endearing. My nephew had them when he was young and all the adults loved them and he couldn't stand them.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I too always had freckles as a child and I hated them. I now just seem to get them on my arms and no longer on my face.

At my age I am used to them and just vaguely remember all the teasing that I got for having them. One of my neices gets a lot of freckles and hates them too, but she too will someday outgrow this.

Very cute take on Polka Dots.

Happy TT and New Year wishes.

    God bless.

  43. Mrsupole ~ I don't ever rememeber getting teased...but I don't have them year-round, either. :)
