That's a clever take on polka dots. Smart gal. nice photo too and you know, polka dots on faces, especially with tans can be quite charming too but doubt your son wants to hear that, right? :)
Excellent. I thought this was such a hard one but I'm delighted at the responses. So inventive. He's a little cutie. Not too much sun or the dots will join!
As always - a great take on this Thursday theme. I get freckles too, but only from the spring sun. They disappear within days when I get a golden tan.;) xo Zuzana
He is so darn cute, Betsy! :) Freckles are darling, I love them. I also love polka dots as well, so thanks for bring two of my loves together in one post. :)
When I was a kid I was very unhappy that I didn't have dimples like my mom and sister and brother or green eyes like my dad and oldest brother. I felt nondescript. Until one day my mom told me that I have something better (or at least just as good). I have freckles and they are kisses from the sun. And that's why I love my freckles best of all my features.
I too always had freckles as a child and I hated them. I now just seem to get them on my arms and no longer on my face.
At my age I am used to them and just vaguely remember all the teasing that I got for having them. One of my neices gets a lot of freckles and hates them too, but she too will someday outgrow this.
Love it Betsy ~~ Being a redhead by birth, I know about polka-dots.

I had so many freckles as a kid, but it was okay because my Grandma told me they were God's kisses!! Happy TT
ReplyDeletefreckles are awesome, wish i had some!
ReplyDeletePut him in a ski mask to prevent the freckles. Just keep him away from convenience stores!
ReplyDeleteNo? Too drastic. Well, then, I'm all out of ideas. ;)
SWEET!!!
ReplyDeletehappy tt and happy new year/decade!
Jeffscape ~ LOL! he'd look a raccoon after a day in the sun with a ski mask! That would be worse than freckles!
ReplyDeleteHi Betsy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie. I love those polka dots!
Seriously, you are so creative. This TT post warmed my heart inside. Thanks for ALWAYS finding a way to make me smile. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat post by the way. ;-)
Cuppa Jo ~ well, I have dimples too...or just one. ha!
ReplyDeleteFreckles are so endearing. My nephew had them when he was young and all the adults loved them and he couldn't stand them.
ReplyDeleteI too always had freckles as a child and I hated them. I now just seem to get them on my arms and no longer on my face.

Very cute take on Polka Dots.
Happy TT and New Year wishes.

Mrsupole ~ I don't ever rememeber getting teased...but I don't have them year-round, either. :)
