recovery ahead. One of my neighbors ordered a
gift basket for her. Finding soft green, comforting
things was so much fun! Who wouldn't be cheered
by some miniature roses, fluffy socks infused with aloe,
lotion, tea and chocolate!?

The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind.
The third is to be kind."

ReplyDeleteChristian ~ green IS your favorite color now, isn't it? :)
ReplyDeleteYour baskets are always so pretty and so much fun! (I know from being on the receiving end!) :^)
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting to mention how cool your new jewelry pieces are!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I'm sure it will cheer her up!
ReplyDeleteGift baskets were always one of my favorite gifts to receive after I had a baby, to keep pulling out goodie after goodie, some for me and some for the baby.
What a lovely basket. You are such a thoughtful lady. I'll bet she will love this!
ReplyDeleteAnd love the jewelry on the sidebar!
Rebecca ~ thank you! But the basket isn't from me...I just took the order and made it. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and a very thoughtful gift. I love seeing your baskets!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, nice to know she has caring friends like this and wonderful looking basket :)
ReplyDeleteLovely basket... you do have a way with arranging!
ReplyDeletewell that is a true quote for sure...everything in the basket will be a balm for her
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely. I can just see her smiling when she sees it. I absolutely love miniature roses. They are just darling. And I saw something about califlower (sp) au gratin on your side thingy. Eh? Sounds very interesting and worth a post with a recipe (hint, hint). :)
ReplyDeleteRosezilla ~ oh, the cauliflower was so yummy and a perfect combo with the meatloaf. Yum. I don't really have a recipe. I just parboil the cauliflower (cut up) until tender-crisp. The add it to a white sauce in which I've added cheese...what ever I have. This time I used velveeta and added some parmesaen. Place in casserole, cover and bake 350 for 30 minutes. And...I ended up using half broccoli and half cauliflower just to make the dish feed more. I wanted leftover for the weekend! ;)
ReplyDeleteit's a delightful selection! i agree - who wouldn't feel comforted by these sweet gifts?
ReplyDeleteHi! Betsy,
