- Me ~ "Taylor, what are those weird looking footprints on the floor in your room"?
- Taylor ~ "I have poison ivy on the tops of my feet and I've been spraying them with that calamine spray before I put my socks on."
- Me ~ "Maybe it would be better if you did that on the bathroom rug. Then I could just toss it in the wash when I do the laundry."
- Taylor ~"Oh."
Mom, he was probably out of his head with the itching and couldn't think straight. Last year when I had the poison ivy I was itching non-stop for days and days. You have the cutest posts.
ReplyDeleteHi there Betsy
ReplyDeleteI could do with some of that spray... having it in the moon boot for five weeks has made it awfully itchy...
Boys and men can be domestically disadvantaged...
Happy days
So funny! I was waiting for a scary ghost story, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteHehe, that is life with men.;)) I am sure it makes for many fun stories.;)) One has to agree though that it looks like a mysterious work of art.;))
ReplyDeleteBut if the spray had been on the bathroom rug that was thrown in the wash you would have been denied a fine post.
ReplyDeleteAh Betsy, this post took me right back to having my 3 boys at home. What messes men are!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Men just don't think about how messes will be cleaned up, do they?
ReplyDeleteoh how funny...and typical...i was wondering if my daughter was the only one!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! Sounds like something that would happen at my house.
ReplyDeleteAliens!
ReplyDeleteUh, it just NEVER occurred to him!!!
Sounds like my second born!
Michelle ~ it does look like a ghost was standing there! LOL!
ReplyDeleteha! Boys... sigh.
ReplyDeletePoor thing! I hate poison ivy,,,,just hate it,,,,,
ReplyDeleteNanny ~ oh, I know! Poor guy! He gets it a couple of times a summer. We usually go with the shot but he told me about it over the weekend and went with just having the pills called in to the pharmacy. It's barely keeping it under control, so we may have to do the shot afterall!
ReplyDeleteI on the other hand, have never had it! I wonder if some people are fortunate enough to me immune. Too bad he didn't get that gene passed down from me!
Hahah. Reminds me of when I was a teen and would do similar things or worse yet, as a budding graphic designer spraying spray mount. The dust would collect where there was no paper and then it would get all crusty and filled with dust balls, etc. Eeew.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! But, poor Taylor... oh so itchy.
ReplyDeleteMG ~ yes, very itchy...he's off to the dr. in the morning for a shot!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's funny. It looks like one of the Willow Manor ghosts paid you a visit!
ReplyDelete:) What perfect prints!
