Howdy Oh my gosh this is so awesome. I love Family Circus :) We still have several cartoons that our son clipped out of the Sunday paper years ago .They have followed us around thru several moves and once unpacked go on the refrigerator . At the time our son was so impressed that our family looked just like a family circus cartoon. Ah little did he know ! Blessings of joy to you and yours. Thank you so much for leaving a sweet comment on my blog . Hugs Happy Trails
Ah, this is a very close expression of my life :) Is it bad that I'm beginning to get excited about school starting back?!? I'll have a clean home at least between the hours of 8-3, ha!
Lisa ~ You know, I lasted until just last week enjoying all the boys home for the summer. Just over this weekend I've decided that I'm ready for school now...3 weeks to go! I'm proud of myself for holding it together almost the whole break! ha-ha!
My daughter still has nearly six more weeks of vacation! It's intense, I tell you. Great cartoon, and I have been enjoying taking a peek around your blog--it's lovely.
I'm with YOUR comment Betsy...I found myself thinking (somewhat wistfully) this weekend of ALL the things I am going to do and accomplish when they get back to school!!
Fun knee! That is a bit of how I feel babysitting for 2 all week. It is amazing how fast you forget how to handle multiple kiddos when you haven't been doing so for the last 10 years. No time of your own.
This was great.. I can definetly relate but on a different scale. No children at home now, just the visits when my grandson is here.. 2 dogs and the husband.. that qualifies as Family Circus right??? Thanks for swinging in to see the linen like plate. I hope all is well your way..hugs~lynne~
--Rather like the Army slogan but better. This is something we'd always say raising our little ones....and yes, the house looked (still looks in facT) mic like this picture! Hobbies? Who has time for hobbies?! glad you can blog at least.
Howdy

ReplyDeleteThat's so funny, but so true, and so me about eight or nine years ago. Maybe I should say eight AND nine years ago, when Caboose was just a baby.
ReplyDeleteI used to go straight to that comic in the paper. It was one of my favorites.

Mmm ~ how true! Yes, no time for hobbies. People ask me if I've read a good book recently...uh, no...no books recently! ha-ha!
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm, yeah. I've got two "hobbies" -- one of them is seven years old and the other is three.
