Harry, before we go shopping let's take our
picture together! Oops! Your eyes are closing.
Hey, you didn't look at the camera!
Harry, just look at the camera!
Oops, your face is too close!
You look like a bubble head!
Stop trying to get away! Just smile!
The camera, Harry, not me!
Mom's really sick of smiling.
You however haven't smiled yet!
Harrison William, come on!
OK...almost! This time smile!
Perfect! Whew! I'm exhausted and we
Betsy, that's a great picture. It seems to me it was plenty worth the effort. Are the triplets happy it's summertime? I pray you are having a fun summer.
ReplyDeleteI love EACH and EVERY photo of BOTH of you!! Harry is just needing to get back to the computer MOM!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't you LOVE the one of him smiling at YOU??
WHAT FUN!
One more thing...is that Spence or Alex hanging in the background? He is entertained and glad it is his brother being targeted for the photos OR hoping you will whisk Harry away SOON so HE can have the computer ALL to himself!
ReplyDeleteJill ~ that is Alex...on his favorite 'perch'..the kitchen island. I think he's waiting for us to go so he can grab a turn on my computer!
ReplyDeleteBetsy...what a great series. I love the one where you guys are looking at each other. Harry, is a good sport...humoring Mom! I can tell he loves his sweet Mom!

Those are adorable! My favorite is the one where you're smiling at each other. :D
ReplyDeleteYou are BOTH adorable!!! I love to see a mom enjoying one of her "little" ones. Can't wait to read about the shopping trip. If you bought potato chips can Tukes come over... if you bought watermelon can Boo come over... if you bought a train dvd I'll send both of my boys! And, while they're busy watching (and eating) we'll have tea.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of those strips of photos that are taken in photo booths at the mall - too funny!! I hope you had a great (and not too taxing!) outing. Looking forward to the pics. :)
ReplyDeletePhotos of you and Mr. Harry are priceless.
ReplyDeleteI had dinner with my daughter and grandchildren this evening ... I shared tales of your life with five men. Also mentioned the 75 days of summer vacation .... she thanks you for sharing your insight.
I loved those and your narrative along with them. I'm with Willow, my favorite is the one of you two smiling at each other. I figured that was Alex because isn't he the only one who wears the sound reduction headset? Sad that I can only recognize one in your pictures because he's wearing something on his head. I guess that's better than recognizing one because he's escaping buck naked over the fence!

ReplyDeleteThose are such good pictures! Hope you two have a great shopping trip!
ReplyDeletePatient mum and lovely smiles... at last!
ReplyDeleteSo so cute. Did he enjoy the outing? Is he happy to be out of school?
ReplyDeleteBetsy, that is so funny! I love the one of you and Harry smiling at each other. They are all keepers. I hope your shopping expedition was not as difficult.
ReplyDeleteI have tons of pictures of my oldest granddaughter for exactly the same reason...the camera always catches her a minute too late...or too early...or making a goofy face...or a frown...anything except a pretty picture.
that was FANTASTIC!!! i was smiling through the whole thing!! thanks!
ReplyDeletethe one of him smiling at you is priceless!!
I am so glad that we have digital camera as I have this same scenario [multiplied!]
ReplyDeleteCheers
Maddy ~ well, now you know why we don't have too many family portraits!
ReplyDeleteOh the things we parents and grandparents go through just to get a good picture of our kiddos, huh? It may have taken a few extra shots but the end result was well worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteOh, Betsy, this was so funny. I just love the one where he's smiling up at you. See, you could have stopped several pictures sooner, lol! Kids certainly have their own agenda, don't they? I have a lot of pics of my sons' hands blocking the shot, ugh.
ReplyDeletetoo cute! have two little boys myself, such fun! will be back tomorrow for theme thursday!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh--I love this one! That "The camera, Harry, not me!" photo is priceless as is your lovely smile in the one where you say you are tired of smiling. Lovely pics! Sweet--very...and funny too.
ReplyDeletelmao...i have shared this kind of moment with Matty so many times over. That is just too cute!
