In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy,
to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.”
~~Lee Iacocca
I love this quote. I think it's because that is exactly how I
handle stress...especially when the situation is out of my
control. Channel all of that energy into something good!
That, and a bubble bath makes me feel better!
Calgon...take me away!
lol! I'm pretty sure I look very similar to this when I'm stressed out!:)
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a very wise quote.;)
ReplyDeleteAnd the picture is so funny; I truly feel (and look) this way every morning.;)
Brilliant way to handle stress, Betsy! Especially the bubble bath part. The quote is easy for him to say - he's got bags of money and a good butter substitute. But it's true.
ReplyDeleteGreat quote and funny picture. Stress can get the best of you unless you let it go.
ReplyDeletethis was what I needed to read today. thank you!!
ReplyDeleteOh Betsy, I am sorry you are stressed but I am SURE that kitty is more stressed than YOU! That is SO funny!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis weather is AWFUL! I guess I need to be thankful we were not part of that snowfall!
When my hair was shorter I looked like that every day when I got out of bed!
ReplyDeleteI took my first bubble bath in my big tub this last weekend...definitely a stress reliever!
We had you beat this time — we were somewhere around 7 or 8 degrees. It's your turn now. :)
Jill ~ the few times we had to bathe our caths they looked like this! I was always amazed how thin they were under all that fur!
ReplyDeleteKayren ~ 7 or 8 degrees? Wow...at least the sun is shining with our 10 degrees this afternoon! Brrr. I'm staying inside...and will probably have a long, hot soak in the tub tonight!...not just a stress reliever, but a great way to warm up!
ReplyDeleteWell, here's hoping your hair doesn't ever look like that!
ReplyDeleteLove the cat photo. I wonder who can get their animals to pose like that?
ReplyDeleteThat kitty looks how I felt this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a little gremlin/ha
ReplyDeleteThinking about you girl, hope you feel better!

Wonderful quote and so true! That's why I love to bake :)
ReplyDeleteThat picture is hilarious! I feel like that many a day. Cindy
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Doesn't it feel so good when you step out of the bubble bath and feel so clean through and through? It's so relaxing and those little wrinkles on your fingers feel so neat like skin corduroy.
ReplyDeleteThat cat! I feel like that too often. Didn't know I looked so electrifying.
ReplyDeleteNow, at last, I know why I go to the barber.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! Hope the hot bath helped! You're not really choking people over there, are you? ;^)
ReplyDeleteStevie ~ and your hair is the same color! tee-hee!
ReplyDeleteLOl. that is the most funny picture! Love it. good quote too.
ReplyDeleteI have a similar philosophy! Hey ... I'm hoping your window-washing plans weren't indicative of stress. Did you clean them yet? If/when you do, share what worked well!
ReplyDeleteSusan
