thought I'd give you a closer look. The Mister gave this to me
for our 20th wedding anniversary and it's probably the most
favorite thing I own. It's an antique platinum and diamond
double row eternity ring. I don't know the exact age or the history
behind it but feel very fortunate to have found it in my exact
size since the style makes it impossible to resize.
There's just something about the old vintage stuff,
isn't there?
That is pricless and oh,so beautiful. You are a lucky lady and you deserve it.

Oh, what a beautiful ring. It is just gorgeous and how fortunate you are to have it. What a great gift for your DH to give you. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely gorgeous! I too, PREFER old, antique items to brand new...your ring probably has a very rich history...I love to fill in the blanks...just imagine who wore your ring first?? The different scenarios are endless!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the close up! It is sparkly and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ring!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a beauty. You have him trained well. LOL
ReplyDeleteLoved it the first time I saw it, love it even more close up; beautiful ring for a beautiful occasion.;)
ReplyDeleteOooooh - so glad you posted this close-up, Betsy. It's exquisite. Aren't vintage pieces the best? So much history woven through them. You were obviously meant to have this. Very beautiful - the Mister should get another big hug for that one!! And a big hug to you too :-)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. I don't own any vintage jewelry but I think I'll start looking!

I give you the letter "M"
ReplyDeleteSuza ~ yes, I felt it was meant just for me...the right size and a really good price. I do wish I knew the history of it. I could probably at least do a little research on the style.
ReplyDeleteYour eternity ring is beautiful. Many points for hubby buying something so beautiful and meaningful for you.
ReplyDeleteAs to your post about coffee drinkers...I don't suppose there is any benefit for diet coke drinkers is there?
Wow, that is absolutely exquisite!! Whoa, i'm thinking what I got my wife for her 20th and it was lovely but not nearly as dazzling --wasn't jewelry for one.
ReplyDeleteI love, love antique jewelry and you better believe that I noticed and admired your ring in the previous post! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy own wedding band and engagement ring are antiques. Like yours, they are beautiful pieces of which I knew the history.
And, don't you love platinum? It's so practical and classy!
What a beautiful ring, and you wear it so well... a lovely symbol of your love.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the story behind the ring. I love that.
ReplyDeleteI may be able to do a little research as well, Betsy. I'll see what I can come up with. :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous ring! I just love it. Cindy
Betsy, that is just breathtaking!! And to think it just fit you - it's like it was meant to be yours! It is lovely.

Suza ~ thanks...let me know if you find anything!
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous! I am jealous.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Gorgeous! I love eternity rings. I almost got one but then decided to just have my wedding ring enlarged, After 34 years it was tight...I don't know why? LOL!
ReplyDeleteVery, very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love antique jewellery too. This is a beautiful ring. Lucky lucky you!
