Just add bacon, eggs and fruit and you have a delicious brunch.

ReplyDeleteYum, I'm going to try this, I've never made homemade pancakes before, I always use the mix. But this looks so good, I want to try it. You do everything and I'm so impressed. :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm having heart palpitations! It's actually amazing how easy pancakes are to make! I don't know why I don't make them more! I'm going to start!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious and very tasty!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue china.;))
Mmm, I have to make this comes weekend.;))
Ronda ~ these are easy and yummy...I hope you try them!
ReplyDeleteWe often do breakfast on Sunday evenings. Homemade pancakes are always a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese look fluffy and delicious! Thanks for the link to your syrup recipe - Mmmm
ReplyDeletehow many batches must you make Betsy for all the "men"
ReplyDeleteYou and Willow both have blue china on your blog:) Sisters think alike!
ReplyDeleteYum! These look so good, and I'm embarrassed to say I don't think I've ever made pancakes "from scratch". Don't look too hard though ... I will have to try :)

These look so yummy...would love to sample THAT plate right now. I have not tried your homemade syrup yet...but plan to do so...
ReplyDeleteELK ~ you know...the triplets won't eat them! All those autistic traits and their self limiting diets. Oh how I wish I had to flip dozens of them on the griddle...maybe some day!
ReplyDeleteI make homemade pancakes, too, straight out of my Betty Crocker cookbook I've had since I got married. They are similar to your recipe. Love them! But when I've run out of syrup I've thrown some together but it's runny...I didn't actually have a recipe...I just threw equal parts of sugar, brown sugar, and water together. So I was thrilled to see your homemade syrup recipe. Printed it off immediately and plan to try it soon. What I want to know is, if there is any left, or if I want to make some to keep in the fridge for frozen waffles, how does it keep?
ReplyDeleteKayren ~ I never have enough syrup leftover to keep! If you try it, let me know how it does when you reheat it.
ReplyDeletepancakes is one of my un-guilty pleasures!! and, yours look delicious!! breakfast is one of my favorite suppers if you follow my drift. smile!
ReplyDeleteJulie ~ we have breakfast for supper every once in a while...yum...usually omelettes!
ReplyDeleteWe make pancakes on Sunday too! I just bought little pancake star molds at Williams Sonoma on sale that make the cutest star shaped stacks that can be filled in the middle with fruit! A future blog post :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks really yummy. I make my own pancakes from scratch, but they aren't Buttermilk. Sometimes I make them look like little feet for the grandkids.
