  2. Thanks for the pic and the reminder. Does is seem that all our men in previous generations had super long legs and never had weight problems?

  3. Gracelaced ~ yes! They are all lean and handsome! I think my Taylor inherited some genes from these men...he's very tall and thin.

  4. Nice post on a day we remember! There were many WWII Veterans in my family. They are all gone now but certainly not forgotten.

  10. Next year when I have all my stuff I'm going to put photos up of my grandpa. He served in WWII and died a few years ago the day after his 91st birthday.

As an answer to yesterday, I live a smidge north of Detroit. I guess to people we meet I'd just say "the Detroit area." My husband works in Warren, and it will take him less than 30 minutes to get to work when we move into our house, almost a straight shot north/south. It didn't even hit 40 degrees today...brrr. I mentioned when we were shopping that I thought I might need an electric wrap blanket. Hubby thought since it "wasn't really even cold yet" it was probably a good idea. I hope Sam's still has them when we go back. Oh, and they didn't have any Vanilla Macadamia Nut coffee at my Sam's. :(

  11. Remembering all veterans and their families today!

Betsy -- try to catch ABC's "World News Tonight" broadcast with Cahralie Gibson tomorrow. They said tonight that they will have a story about a new breakthrough treatments for teenagers with autism!

Our Sams is kind of sporadic in their coffee selection...maybe it will show up eventually!
