That is sweet....my hubby makes the coffee, but he drinks it too. As a matter of fact, he is the one who turned me on to coffee....before we married I always stuck w/ hot cocoa or cider. Now I'm addicted!
Hey, you've got him well trained. I don't drink the coffee, but it's always ready for oldmanlincoln to hit the button for more. He's the coffee drinker.
Jill ~ yes, I agree....I think it started out with him worried that I wouldn't get out of bed 15 years ago with all those babies and the nighttime feedings! The fact that he still does it....I'm definitely well loved! :)
How is it that he doesn't drink it? Have you tried tempting him with some of the delicious flavoured coffes? Or is it a caffeine thing? I won't drink decaf either...
Lavinia ~ he's a tea drinker...straight and strong without sugar..and he likes flavors, too! But coffee..he thinks it smells good, but that's all! And it's fine, really...I don't have any problem finishing off the pot all by myself!
marcia ~ oh, if Kris read this he would beg to differ in that his your manly chores over the last year in building a log home out in the country...with REAL manly tools...wouldn't compare to The Mister's measuring cup and bean grinder! tee-hee! :)
That coffee art is pretty impressive. My hubby makes the coffee around here too, but he drinks it as well. If he is unable to make it for some reason, then I get my morning caffeine in the form of a diet coke. I only make coffee when it is absolutely necessary...I don't want my husband to know that I know how to make it:)
hey...i have the worst email...could you email me...and then i will SAVE your address this time :)...and send you an invitation to my other blog...thanks!
Jamie ~ I don't think a diet coke would do it for me in the morning. Something about the heat of the coffee is soothing and eases me into consciousness! :)
I don't drink coffee, unless you're counting frappicinos, so I've never really learned to make it. My ex husband used to do it and now my company has to make their own...if they want good coffee. I provide all the fixings and they have to provide the expertise.
I have ALWAYS thought that was the sweetest...that your Mister makes you coffee despite his NOT drinking it!
ReplyDeleteI think you are well loved!

ReplyDeleteGood man. now that's the kind of manly chore I could seriously get into! Love the latte art too, btw!
ReplyDeleteIf you could give him $10.00 he'd learn how to do that a more.
