We are ALL tickled to see these photos! The kids are surrounding me admiring the boys and their cake! I love the the boys...smiling...soooo pleased with their cake.
Sam keeps saying "I love train cake! I love train cake!" You out-did yourself on that one Betsy!!!
Jill ~ Thanks! Seeing them looking at the cake is the best part! And they did manage to get all the candles blown out...after many, many tries! Now, if only they would EAT it! I need some boys like Sam! :)
Smiling Hello Betsy from Istanbul:) Many thanks for your sweet comment regarding the postcard. I'm so glad that little piece of treasure made a bon voyage to you and found a lovely place to live in:) Hope our postwoman acts fast to deliver me yours as well as others, as I'm pretty impatient one. Agree on it, that Steph had a great idea and my appreciation goes for her effort and skills on this way.
Have a nice weekend & My Happy B-day wishes for the Boys! Never seen such a fantastico cake, o lucky boys.
My grandson, Noah, who you probably know, would love this cake. He is absolutely nuts about anything to do with trains and knows them forward and backwards.
Thanks for dropping by while I've been sick. Your handsome sons look so excited about their birthday cake. Betsy, I must know did you actually make that cake yourself. It looks so neat. I'll bet you had the best party. You are such a loving person and I know you made it a special day for them.
What a great cake! It looks like food that can be played with. Did you make it? Your boys look wonderful and healthy and ready to eat cake. Thank you for posting pictures!
Abe ~ yes, I know your Noah would love it! I've seen trains on Melinda's blog! It was fun to make something that actually interested the guys! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Betsy, they have such disarming smiles. I want to give each of your boys a big kiss on their sweet faces. Would they let me or do they think it would be icky...LOL...probably! My own daughter will only "allow" me one hug per day....
Lavinia ~ Actually, they are quite affectionate...especially for boys with autism ...and for teenagers! Harry, especially, has to be told that only a little peck is appropriate...he like to linger a little too long on your cheek! (mom loves it, but others do not!)
Oh, they all look so sweet! How cute are they! I love the cake! Did you make it? It's adorable. Were they excited about it? Did they get some presents they especially liked?
Bobbi ~ yes, I made the cake! ...even though they don't eat it! They love to look at it and blow out the candles, but I know you can relate to those autistic self-imposed diets. They did get a few presents to open and then we need to shop for new winter coats!
I remember on your post the day you went for Spencer's doctor visit about seeing trains...I saw the cake and it clicked that they must all love them. Awesome job on the cake, Betsy!
