It made sense to have black this time since you had orange the last, with Halloween coming up at the end of the week. The postage stamp reminds me of my grandpa's stamp collection. I'm really wondering about those black tulips though. Are they seriously real?
I know I've told you before, but I always look forward to your color posts.
Kayren ~ yes, there really are black tuplips! The photo is not doctored. I think they are really different! I'm enjoying the color posts, too! What will I do when I run out of colors? :(
Your color posts are always fun! I love the very seasonal black cat right in the middle. The black stamp is beautiful! I use old stamps as envelope seals and other letter and card decorations.
I just love your color posts! I am looking at Isabel crayon box right now and it's a box of 64. I guess I can look forward to a few more! :) I have never seen black tulips before.
I love this one. Those black tulips are stunning. I love them. Having issues with my weight off and on for many years black has always been a friend of mine for clothes. Your choices are so pretty and that cup of coffee looks wonderful right about now. I love your color posts!!!Great job.
Betsy, this post is so beautiful! I love black and I especially love the little vintage evening bag - I collect those. And for those who doubt the tulip colour... they are real. We used to have them in our garden at home and they are gorgeous.

I love black and white decorated rooms with a tiny splash of color. I've wanted to paint a room charcoal gray for years.

ReplyDeleteBlack is the absence of light and these photos tend to bring out the other colors.
ReplyDeleteI am doing something different on my Gordon, Ohio blog. I set out to photograph and describe every house in the village where I was born.

Black can be so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDazzling selection, but Betsy, where's the classic "little black dress"? Most elegant, especially when worn by the likes of, say, Audrey Hepburn.
ReplyDeleteThe Penny Black! I actually have this in poster form in my office!! Isn't that geeky!
ReplyDeleteI confess that the black tulips really caught my eye too. Very stunning. I'm assuming they are real based on the other flowers around them.
