Summer's Last Blooms

Isn't this a sweet little flower vase? It is a
vintage reproduction. I love how it has a
flower frog as part of the lid that screws
right on the top. It makes arranging a bouquet
so easy, anybody can do it!

  8. Hi Betsy! I have been receiving lovely flowers lately from a certain Indiana gentleman and when they arrive the vases are taped (with florist tape) in a similar crosswise pattern so that the arrangement stays put and looks wonderful. Clever idea. But yours is so pretty and delicate - lovely vase. Enjoy your last blooms!

  15. beautiful. the flowers may herald the last of summer butwe are coming up on the first of many once-a-year events -- the first red maple leaf, the first scarecrow in someone's yard, the first trip to the orchard, the first pumpkin pie and my list goes on and on. you just have to love fall!!

  16. I love black eyed susans. Maybe this arrangement will be the next to the next to the last of the season....my fingers are crossed. Me thinks that Muse Swings will need some of these at her Indian Summer party on the 22nd.
